Something very special has been unleashed on Earth.   

WE R THE ALIENS’ run of futuristic house, minimal and electronica continues with its third release “Twisties/Lollypop EP” by Melbourne’s finest Just Jack and Katie Drover.   The newest aliens deliver 6 magnificent cuts on a split EP, ranging from delicate minimal to wonky breakbeat floor fillers.

Resonet Music curator Jack Nelson kicks things off with “Twisties”, a heavy low-end minimal groove, pairing spacey synths with ethereal voices and nimble melodies. “Ergust Discovers Computer Music” ventures further from the opening track and is straight out of the bleepy, sci-fi minimal handbook. The EP's highlight, “Poast Pfil” is a proper tease - with more upbeat and rapid tone, expressing varying degrees of enthusiasm for the possibility of intelligent life in the universe.

  On the flip side Dokutoku mistress Katie Drover shows off incredible dystopian landscapes with enough subtle changes to make each track a journey in itself. From minimal, to electro, and drum & bass – Katie Drover dropped it all! The opening track “Lollypop” does a wonderful job of setting up the tone with a steady groove and a delicate touch, while “Make UP” is about as impressive and tonnes-heavy as you can get. A spiralling electro roller that rises and falls without any fuss. Last but not least “Paw Paw” lives up to its name. This fractured beat is a near-perfect five minute workout that jolts and sizzles.

For April's edition we are very honored to have one of our favourite artists of all time Jakob Seidensticker (Perlon / Wareika / Visionquest) and his partner in crime Boronas (Visionquest / Abartik / Less Iz More) gracing our radio show with their music.

During the past decade, electronic music has constantly pushed and sometimes crushed the borders of its genre. Jakob Seidensticker has dedicated his work to this process with projects like The Havana Boys, Seidensticker & Salour, Silky Raven, Seidensticker & Boronas and the internationally respected trio Wareika.

With Wareika Jakob has been producing and releasing music on well known labels such as Perlon, Circus Company, Eskimo, Visionquest etc. as well as touring all over the world and rocking venues like Output NY, Berghain/Panorama Bar, eleven Japan, D-EDGE Brazil, ARMA17 Moscow, Watergate & Club der Visionaere to name a few.

Jakob has a huge diversity of club experience to pull from and over the past years he has hosted numerous parties in his hometown Hamburg with globally recognized guests joining him.

Boronas

George Boronas is a Hamburg based DJ and producer. He begun his career during the mid 90’s in Thessaloniki, Greece. Early influences came from his parents tape and record collection from Jean Michel Jarre, The Doors, Pink Floyd, David Bowie and many others. Some piano and guitar lessons where enough to make him realise his love for music and made him want to be a part of all that. He started Djing official from the age of 15 and with his unique top mixing skills and record collection he gained reputation for appearances in festivals, parties and events in various venues and clubs in Europe presented by famous Radio and TV shows.

His DJ sets are based on vinyl and are influenced from Detroit, Romanian and Berlin Techno as well Chicago, New York and London House with many Dark & Spooky elements and Jazz, Cinematic and Abstract influences.

For March's edition we are beyond excited to have the master that is Terry Francis (Wiggle / Fabric London) and the very talented Kleo (Wiggle / Kleek Recordings) gracing our radio show with their music. Since we met these fine gentlemen (almost half a year ago) we straight got the feeling that we had to do with two very humble personalities who posses extraordinary skills and knowledge in music!

Kleo and Terry have been close friends for many years now and they've shared the DJ booth numerous times. These two wizards will take over our decks and will be serving tasty music for your listening pleasure!

Terry has released his first album "Together " this month. An album which is described as the "sound of cinematic, Detroit-inspired soundscapes atop bass-heavy, house-fueled rhythms."

Kleo is sadly leaving London and relocates to Australia soon so he is having a big blow out and will be playing some of the most memorable tunes he has in his record bag.

We met Voigtmann 4 years ago at London's most cherished music institution fabric and ever since we've witnessed the man performing in top form ceaselessly across the world. By now Claus Voigtmann’s hardly an inconspicuous name in the bubbling undercurrent of London’s party scene, though that shouldn’t come as a surprise for someone who co-runned Toi Toi Musik, the now prized London party, bookings agency and record label.

Voigtmann was recently announced as one of 3 Londoners who will make more regular appearances at fabriclondon, we're looking so much forward to continue witnessing our friend showcasing his craft in perfect environment. Here you'll find part of our Radio Show from back in 2015 where we invited Voigtmann, Isis & Junki Inoue for a vinyl only session and an interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your hats because the German electronic trio Wareika are about to unleash their latest EP upon the world and it’s a must-listen for anyone who appreciates the more sophisticated scope of Minimal Techno. What sets Wareika apart from other electronic music acts is their ability to create a sound that’s both organic and otherworldly. With their masterful use of live instrumentation and intricate music production techniques, Wareika have cemented their place as one of the most innovative and exciting acts in modern electronic music. Orange & Blue EP on Yarn Records is a testament to the group’s unparalleled talent. From the very first beat, it's clear that Wareika are in full control of their sound, delivering a three-track EP that’s both polished and haunting. Props to Yarn Records for making their return after more than 4 years of inactivity in cutting vinyl.

The first track, ‘Waiting For The End, Enjoying The Newstart’ sets the tone with a pulsating bassline and lush percussions that gradually build in intensity over its 14th minute runtime. Guitar riffs make their appearance from early on while subtle melodies span across the whole duration of the track. With its refined sound design, superior pacing, and mesmerizing beats, this is a track that’s sure to stay with you long after it’s over. It may require a few listens to fully grasp the concept but if you’re willing to give yourself over to its trance-inducing rhythm, you’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable journey into the heart of Minimal finesse.

On the flip side the titled track ‘Orange & Blue’ peaks up the pace a notch. Right off the bat, the drum is crisp and funky while an elliptical keyboard line slips in and out. Clocking in at just under ten minutes, it’s a slow-burning epic that builds and builds, with layers of synths and percussion gradually folding in on themselves until they explode into a frenzy of sound. It’s the kind of track that’s perfect for getting lost on the dancefloor or at the afters, with stripped-down beats and hypnotic melodies that will keep you grooving for hours on end. 


The ‘Rainmaker’ is just as reduced and melancholic, but it too has enough rhythmic power and bass movement to capture one's imagination. Profound in simplicity with a directness that could only come from total confidence in one’s own brilliance — the Rainmaker sounds like feeling the rain on your skin after a long winter. The opening snap of the drums, the subtle chords, and the wordless refrain seem to beam down from some impossibly halcyon era.

One of our first guests back in the day; the super talented Daniela La Luz.

Daniela La Luz is a live act, producer, composer and vocalist. In the last years Daniela´s electronic music productions made it into the record bags of international high profile DJ´s such as Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Moodymann (closing track for DJ Kicks), Nina Kraviz, Ken Ishii, tINI (Cocoon Ibiza CD), Dana Ruh, Solomun, Marcel Dettmann and many more. Daniela has played Boiler Room, HÖR Berlin, ARTE United We Stream and was featured on Telekom Electronic Beats.

Next to her career as touring musician, Daniela was a monthly promoter and live act in Berlin locations, such as About Blank, Griessmühle, Ipse, Tresor, Renate, ... / CEO + A&R + Radio + Communication Design of Parallel from 2008-2018.

Beside the release of two albums and several EP´s, tracks and remixes on labels like Rawax, Housewax, Chiwax, Cocoon.

After three years of sickness, Daniela returns to 2022 with new energy, to being the passionate and addicted producer; there´s much more to come!

American DJ / Texas Native: Since 2010 Bon hosted Proton Radio's weekly Friday night underground demo mix show Bedroom Bedlam. Also is a talent scout for Proton Radio, Proton LTD, and submission label manager for Proton Sound System. 

For the past 14 years she and her music partners have been active in building the Dallas Electronic Music scene by throwing club events and underground warehouse parties, by the name of Creme De La Creme, Lotus Ranch, Nothing But Techno.

Listen to couple of Joseph's tracks and you will instantly feel his personality and production expertise in each track with a sense of intoxicating hypnosis perhaps the unifying factor.
