Tech Avenue Records presents the speaker pounding sounds of Alecs (US). Back by popular demand, we welcome Alecs back for his second EP with the label. The "Rumba" EP features three originals that are guaranteed to break dance floors with their deep massaging bass lines and big ambiance sounds. We're in incredible company with Mike Ivy, Lui Danzi and Tech Avenue label-head, Stu, doing their own renditions on two of the tracks. 

The "Sensation" and "Rumba" remixes by Mike Ivy and Lui Danzi are proper vibe setters, offering organic rhythms, crisp percussion, rumbling bass lines, robust drums, hooky vocal cuts and tension building throughout both tracks. And the "Rej" remix by Stu - a swingy head bobbing cut that plays on an old school classic pluck melody that you might recognize.

Alecs has been building a solid reputation for himself while breaking through the LA underground scene, and his music captures the true essence of the label's sound. All tracks are must-haves for your summer playlists. We hope you enjoy the sounds of the Avenue!

Another impressive offering from a talented South American artist, our latest release comes in hot from Kardox. Comprising two upbeat and bottom-heavy peak time tracks, Kardox’s Boom Beat EP makes a promising statement on his label debut. 

Opening the release, ‘Boom Beat’ jumps straight into heavyset drum work and racy hat grooves. Layered percs add movement and tone whilst a catchy bassline rides along underneath. A catchy vocal hook dives in and out of the track as it goes through its many peaks and troughs, keeping you dancing from end to end. 

‘Sweet Drums’ completes the release, keeping its foot firmly on the gas. Rapid beat constructions and offbeat fills bounce off sizzling hats whilst a rolling bassline rumbles below. Keeping things moving at breakneck speed, subtle melodic elements fly in and out of the mix throughout whilst the track continues its onslaught of pounding rhythm and hands-up energy.

Branco Simonetti - Yellow Bug (MATERIALISM227)

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Kofla started in the world of Tech House at the beginning of 2017, influencing himself in tropical Caribbean sounds and heavy grooves incorporating Latin culture and old English pop culture. His taste for percussion in the vast majority of his music is based on his early learning of acoustic drums, which continued on to spark a great interest in adding these elements to his productions. The "To Eso Eh Mío EP" features two originals from the rising talent, alongside a remix from Tech Avenue roster member DZR. This release is truly unique in the percussive style it boasts, blaring rich and airy organic sounds and funky high-low movements giving off a tribal and latin touch. We're excited to welcome the newest member of the Tech Avenue family, and Colombian rising Tech House prospect - Kofla.
