Bio:
Mode_1 – DJ/Producer (Dublin, Ireland) Mode_1 is a Dublin-based techno producer and DJ known for delivering clean, powerful peak-time tracks and high-octane sets that blend hypnotic rhythms with relentless groove. A long-standing resident of Subject, one of Ireland’s most respected collectives, he has become a consistent presence in Ireland’s underground scene and increasingly further afield. His production career has seen a steady rise, with key releases on labels like Knotweed Records, FiedelTwo, Naked Lunch, and his own imprint M1M Series. Notable highlights include his track "Oíche"on Berghain resident Fiedel’s Appendix compilation, and his contribution “Twenty7” to the
collector’s edition vinyl marking the closure of District 8—alongside Irish techno heavyweights
Tinfoil, Hybrasil, and Moduse. Mode_1’s discography continues to evolve with a clear focus on groove, depth, ando sonic precision. A standout moment in 2024 was his release on Dust in Groove, the label curated by French DJ Olivia Mendez. His track “Sigma” became a widely played highlight, earning support across clubs
and mixes for its dynamic energy and refined production. This was followed by another strong release on FiedelTwo, marking his continued collaboration with the Berlin-based label. With remixes for artists like Vinicius Honorio and further releases on respected imprints such as Super Sound Tool, Prophecy Records, RLSD, and Out of Place, he continues to carve a distinct path within the European techno landscape. His release on the iconic Token Records marked a major milestone, further cementing his position among Europe’s most forward-thinking techno artists. As a DJ, Mode_1 has played at key events and institutions that define the genre. In 2019, he was invited to perform at Photon in Dublin—an internationally regarded series curated by Ben Klock (Klockworks/Berghain), showcasing artists pushing the boundaries of techno. He also featured on the long-running Slam Radio series, curated by Scottish duo Slam, further solidifying his place among the genre’s respected selectors.
He has become a regular fixture in Berlin’s club circuit, with appearances at venues like M.01 and About Blank, while also expanding internationally with performances in New York and across France. With each release and performance, Mode_1 reinforces his reputation for precision, intensity, and an unwavering commitment to the craft of techno.

Back on August 30th, the Motion Room at Fuse became a canvas for AgainstMe’s storytelling. Characterized by physical intensity, the set moved through hypnotic ambiance, a dub focus with patient tension, and saturated textures. He played the tone right for that night, with a selection paving the way perfectly for Psyk and Orbe, who carried the narrative forward in their own voices. In retrospect, the moment will stand as a reference point for deep journeys ahead. Beyond metrics, beyond measure, capturing what this kind of sound truly brings to the dancefloor.

AgainstMe ― Recorded Live at Fuse (30.08.25)

Fast. Impulsive. Techno. Three words to establish and define what the artist known as Egotot is all about. The young musician, hailing from the deep south of Germany, sets quite the pace when it comes to his vision of electronic music, regarding both tempo as well as quality. His beats, be in the studio or in the DJ booth, appear to come and arrange themselves seemingly with no effort. A Rave-infected sonic testing ground without ever feeling like a simple Rave pastiche. A vision of Techno that is obviously inspired by its sound of the 90s, but neither exceedingly aggressive, nor excessively happy.

Egotot has a special taste for rugged, up-tempo grooves which demand their own time to breathe and reveal their power. A sonic all-purpose weapon to be used on, for, and by the dance floor. However, his sense for music doesn’t stop at the edge of dancefloor-oriented Rave. It goes far beyond, right to and through the sometimes more and sometimes less subtle tides of electronic music.

This exemplarily reflects in his very own imprint, Schimmer Records, which he founded in 2019. The label has, in a rather short period of time, already evolved to a sonic reservoir of all different shades, all of which share a commonality – quality in production, love to detail, and an undeniable appeal to avid devotees of electronic music of all kinds. 

There is nothing confusing about Egotot’s take on music. It is clean-cut, it is straightforward, it is always effective. The Industrial clout, the fast groove, the merciless rigor – this is how Techno should sound in the 21st century, and Egotot is its perfect avatar.

Born in Yokohama, Anri’s was surrounded with the booming hiphop scene in her home town. 
A trip to Tokyo in 1999 gave Anri her first taste of electronic music and there was no looking back.  
Inspired by many techno dj’s in Tokyo she moved there later that year.  Her first gigs in Tokyo in 2003 quickly built her skills and her sound - finding her sonic niche, and gathering bookings all over Japan.  In 2010 she moved to Melbourne, after visiting and discovering a flourishing techno scene.  
There she began a residency on Steve Ward's Kiss FM radio show “Chameleon Recordings Radio”, where she quickly gained a loyal following. Steve’s Ward’s influence also did not end there, with Anri moving into music production as she delved deeper into the world of Sound Design by enrolling at the Electronic Music Academy.  
As an artist on Chameleon’s roster she headlined parties for their events in Australia and Europe.2014 saw a move to Berlin with a residency at Chalet.  
Since being based in Berlin she has played shows in Italy, Sweden, Helsinki, Doha, Amsterdam, France, Poland and Switzerland.  As well as playing at many of Berlin’s favorite clubs including Ritter Bruzke, Ipse, Golden Gate, Birget & Bier and Salon zur wilder Renate as a resident DJ and organizer of a regular party there called Tokyo Redlight.  Anri has also toured Asia several times through Japan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kunming and Beijing. 2014 also saw the first release from Anri with her single “Yume” from TEAM Records in Amsterdam, released on Gem Records (Amsterdam). Different is Different (Spain). Stripped Records (UK) and Chameleon Records (Aus).
With years of experience behind the decks on many stages from clubs to festivals, Anri has honed a unique techno sound that moves from experimental and challenging techno to melodic and deep and takes the dance floor on a journey into inner spaces held by her gentle feminine power.
