Iakob is the DJ and production project of Georgian artist Jacob Surmanidze. After graduating from CES (Creative Education Studio) in 2016, he founded the label Rebell Union, and launched the Iakob project in late 2021. His music has since appeared on labels such as Diffuse Reality, Rebell Union, CoolKidz Records, Platz Fur Tanz, ONI Recordings, Presstechno, and more—building a sound that blends power with precision.

This mix is a deeply personal one for Iakob. Every moment was carefully chosen, making it a long-awaited milestone in his career. Contributing to the BCCO mix series marks a special moment.

BCCO Mix Series 662: Iakob

Paàl is a Berlin-based live act and producer with a versatile, percussive approach to club music. Moving between house and techno, his sound blends deep atmospheres with driving rhythmic intensity, creating immersive and physical dance floor experiences. His hardware live sets are spontaneous and energetic, offering a raw and evolving take on contemporary club performance. As a producer, he has released on labels including Bipolar Disorder, Fides, Midnight Shift and Club QU, with tracks that balance clarity and groove. With appearances at venues such as Berghain, Tresor and RSO, Paàl continues to shape a sound defined by depth, openness and freedom from genre boxes.

In this set, Paàl delivers a journey into hypnotic grooves and subtle intensity, capturing just the right amount of deepness for those steaming, sunlit mornings. Rhythms simmer and roll with energy, carrying the dance floor forward in a haze of warmth and momentum.

Growing up with Schranz, Drum'n'Bass, Jungle and Techno, the Los Angeles native soaked up everything electronic early on. After his move to Germany, he soon became a vital part of the illegal rave community. Now based in Berlin, he runs the label Pass The Vibe Check and is a regular behind some of the city's most renowned decks. Thanks for this beauty of a mix! Vibe check: passed.

PITCH.1 is the musical project of Vincenzo Montalbano.
The approach to the world of clubs takes place during the years of stay in London which will guide the style with the typical sounds of house music. About 10 years ago, the great friendship and closeness with Andrea Cavani and Fabio Dall’Oglio (aka we.amps) opened the doors to the world of djing and collaboration in musical productions for him.
The many visits to Berlin clubs add minimal and dark notes to his DJ sets. Lover of 90’s techno he winks at acid, detroit, industrial sounds, with break beat parentheses.
Vincenzo is also part of the Tech Clubbers collective.

Uväll is a respected figure in Georgia's electronic music scene. Raised in Tbilisi, he has developed his musical style over the years, focusing on deep, muscular rhythms that define his raw, dancefloor-oriented sessions. He has released music on labels such as Dig Curated, WSNWG, FLOAT, INGUMA, OECUS, and CANTICLE, showcasing his depth and intensity as a producer. His performances have left a strong impression at venues like BASSIANI, Radion, Jasna1 & Fvtvr - just to name a few. Uväll is also a co-founder of the event series called FACTION, where he continues to explore and contribute to the techno music scene with a deep-rooted passion for electronic music.

SORAYA is a fresh-on-the-scene, London-born techno DJ located in Berlin. Her sets are synonymous with energetic, deep hypnotic techno and seamless blends, which are driven by this pulsating urge to bring the crowd on a meditative journey where they can lose themselves in the moment. She has fast caught the attention of many, playing at a number of prominent venues including Tresor, FOLD, Pickle Factory, The White Hotel, About Blank, Club Ost, La Station, and many others.

SORAYA is long-term resident for popular sex-positive techno night, Klub Verboten.
