Aria Series 49th Episode is now out with a techno lesson from master Jamie Behan (Bastardo Electrico // KilleKill)


One of Irish techno’s most dedicated warriors, Jamie Behan has been an unrelenting figure at the centre of the electronic music in Ireland for over two decades and is widely acknowledged as the godfather of the techno scene in his home city of Cork through his long-running club night and label “Bastardo Electrico”.

Despite being known as an out and out techno heavyweight, Behan’s sound stretches across old school Chicago house, electro, old-school rave & further. 

Undoubtedly a “DJ’s DJ” who has been keeping it real in the international techno community without caving to any bulls*** he has brought his intense but eclectic and funky brand of techno to clubs & festivals such as Tresor, Griessmuehle, Corsica Studios, Meat Free, Dimensions Festival and many others around Europe and beyond in England, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Malta, Switzerland, Jordan, UAE, and Bahrain.

Having released both solo productions and collaborations on Bastardo Electrico, Killekill, Nice & Nasty, & Shelter Records, Behan is stepping up his production game with a debut solo EP forthcoming on Bastardo Electrico and a forthcoming collaborations with fellow Irish DJ & Producer Cailin alongside further colorations with DJ Flush under their “Cork Bangers” alias to be announced soon for Killekill and 

Fear-E’s Posh End Music imprint alongside other artistic projects. Watch this space….

Berlin based producer and DJ, Anna Kost has been forging a luminescent path for herself in the techno circuit in the past years. After surfacing on Soma Records and Warok Music in 2021, her EP ‘See Life Better’ on Hotflush Recordings sets out an overview of her approach to the form.

Rooted in European techno but with heavy influences from the broken-beat sounds of the UK underground, her music combines technical dexterity with a stylistic literacy that belies her limited catalogue.

Her mixes for Slam Radio and Cosmonauts Athens feature an expert feel for shifting moods, with a rare ability to blend contrasting styles to create something entirely new. Her appearance on HÖR Berlin consisted entirely of original productions, reflecting the prolific studio output of this exciting talent which led to two features in the Bandcamp Best Electronic Music newsletter in 2022.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ 01100110

01100110 ( ZeroElevenZero ) is a techno DJ and composer from Berlin. 
In their productions, 01100110 is constantly seeking for new rhythms and landscapes of sound. He has published music on Planet Rhythm, trau-ma and on his personal imprint Elektroakustische Tanzmusik.
As a DJ, 01100110 has grown up in Berlins queer and left scene underground. He like to play a dark, cyberfuturistic and athmospheric sound that is sometimes mystic and melancholic, sometimes harsh and disobedient. His music is cross-inspired from his musical roots, which are situated a bit off from the oldschool techno genre. Industrial, Goth Music, Dark Ambient, Medieval Music and Harsh Noise are just a few to name of those. He is a resident of the booking agency Granit Souls , which supports queer and/or female artists.

The emerging trajectory of this project is marked with their first release at the beginning of the year, Random Conditions on the legendary label Mord. 
Their style is heavily influenced by the early sound of techno with a new school approach, focusing on hypnotic textures and making emphasis on the dance floor.

Gustavo Lima, aka A Thousand Details puede ser considerado posiblemente como uno de los artistas emergentes más importante de la escena techno de Portugal. En los últimos años este productor con sede en Oporto se ha situado a sí mismo a la vanguardia de la próxima generación de djs. Con lanzamientos en diferentes sellos, su hogar es ATD Records, un sello de autoedición con un concepto 100% Made in Portugal. Conocido por su ritmo rápido, oscuro y ritmos distorsionados. Este enérgico y carismático Dj es un gran fanático del hardware sintetizadores, FXs, cajas de ritmos, Eurorack y su estudio es el propio santuario de creación. Gustavo pone énfasis en todas las grietas del espectro de la música electrónica, que se refleja en los proyectos paralelos en los que trabaja en música ambiental y de drones en conjunto con piezas reunidas de su colección sonora. A Thousand Details se ha convertido rápidamente en un artista experimentado ha tenido la oportunidad de actuar en todo Portugal y en la mayoría de los principales clubes de Oporto como GARE, Plano B y el festival Neopop.

Gustavo Lima, aka A Thousand Details can be considered possibly as one of the most important rising artist of Portugal´s techno scene. In the recent years this Porto based producer has established himself at the forefront of Portugal´s next generation of techno DJs. With releases in different labels, his home is ATD Records, a self-release label with a 100% Made in Portugal concept. Known for fast paced, dark and somewhat distorted rhythms this energetic and charismatic Dj is huge fan of hardware synthesizers, FXs, drum machines, Eurorack and his studio is own sanctuary of creation. Gustavo place emphasis on all crevices of the electronic music spectrum, which is reflected on side projects doing ambient and drone music and the sets he pieces together from his sound collection. A Thousand Details has fast become recognized as a seasoned digger having the opportunity of playing throughout Portugal and at most of the major clubs in Porto such us GARE, Plano B as well as Neopop festival.
