Episode eine weitere in der seltenen und unregelmäßigen Reihe der "Künstler-Monografien" - Folgen, in denen nur ein einzelner Gast aus eigenen Werken einen exklusiven Musik-Mix für "XtraChill" zusammengestellt hat. Dieses Mal konnte der Dub-Techno-Tüftler Francesco Tamburrano, der in Episode 414 sein Debüt in diesem Podcast gab, für diese ehrenvolle Aufgabe gewonnen werden. Damit nicht genug: gleichzeitig werden zwei neue Netlabels vorgestellt, die bislang unter Andreas' Radar geflogen sind, "Ecoul SND" aus Lettland und "Techenie" aus Sibirien! Today, on August 15th, 2024, as already announced several times, a very special edition of "XtraChill" is on the program. Like every year, dear Andreas is taking a four-week summer break. And to sweeten this long time, this 421st episode is another in the rare and irregular series of "artist monographs" - episodes in which only a single guest has put together an exclusive music mix for "XtraChill" from his own works. This time, the dub techno tinkerer Francesco Tamburrano, who made his debut in this podcast in episode 414, was able to be won over for this honorable task. Label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 43rd release — "Southern Origins EP" by the talented musician from São Paulo, Brazil, Amaral Borges (@amaral-borges). This EP includes four original tracks and five remixes by dub techno masters: BLOMAQ (@blomaq), Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr), Ekstendia (@ekstendia), emesh (@music_ams) and George Kostopoulos (@george_kostopoulos).

"Southern Origins EP" is a profound musical exploration that spans the sonic landscapes of southern latitudes. The original compositions by Amaral Borges narrate stories filled with the ambiance of nature and space. This sonic journey through the southern latitudes merges the rich musical heritage of Brazil with the deep atmosphere of dub techno. In this release, Amaral Borges invites listeners deep into his musical universe, where organic rhythms and synthetic sounds merge into a harmonious whole.

Each track reflects Amaral Borges' unique approach to music creation, inspired by cultural roots and contemporary sonic trends:

- Amazon Spectrum – The opening track immerses the listener in the sounds of the Amazon rainforest. Deep basses and melodic textures create an effect of being in the heart of the jungle, where every sound reminds of nature's beauty and power.
- Spiral Flux – A track with a hypnotic rhythm and pulsating sounds conveying a sense of movement and energy. Spiral melodies captivate and draw listeners into an atmosphere of endless motion and transformation.
- Celestial Ritual – A track filled with cosmic energy, where deep basses and ethereal sounds create the atmosphere of a mystical ritual under the stars. This composition unveils the theme of connection between the earthly and the celestial, inviting listeners on a meditative journey.
- Mars Surface – The final original composition plunges into the atmosphere of Mars. The remixes add unique accents to the original tracks, expanding the EP's sonic palette:

Biography:
Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer is a Dub and Deep Techno producers duo from Novosibirsk, Russia. Electronic music collective from Siberia, consisting of two guys, a duo of brothers, who create music in the dub techno genre, a duo that specializes in dark and complex chord-based dub techno. Their names are Alexander and Oleg, and their stage names are X_FR and ENERCUBE. They come from Siberia. They strive to create music that is deep, atmospheric and minimalistic, yet meaningful and intelligent, reflecting their mood, emotions and surroundings.
