Involve Records starts the new year with the 3rd edition of the acclaimed Nightclub Pros series, which previously featured the likes of legends such as Maxx Rossi and DJ Ogi besides young talents like Fractions and Chlär, always keeping the balance between old-school and contemporary Techno.

Label owner Regal opens the VA with a trippy tool, reminiscent of his early basement weapons but with a warehouse-ambience. 'Undisputed' gets straight to the point without hesitation and keeps the pace high. DJ Emerson follows up with 'XTC', a rumbling cut for peak time club moments with flashing strobe-lights, giving the Van Halen classic an ecstatic Techno twist. On the flip side, Tensal from the Spanish legendary duo Exium takes a deep dive into futuristic worlds in 'Metaverse', where a brew of chopped vocals accompanies the rolling drums throughout the whole track. Up-and-coming DJ and producer _asstnt from Madrid closes the EP with 'La Línea‘, an 8-min epic march characterized by a catchy guitar riff and groovy percussion, alternating to a vocal insisting on following the line of life.

James Ruskin's Blueprint Records welcomes Setaoc Mass to the label's ever-increasing roster of techno artists.

As a DJ and producer, Setaoc Mass is part of a select cut of young artists who are absorbing techno's legacy and carrying the torch into tomorrow.  Whilst overseeing his own imprints, SK_eleven and SKX, his releases push a galvanising brand of techno steeped in a sense of urgency, ever-propulsive with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age.  As a selector, the Mancunian's extended DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material both new and old.  

Delivering four new techno cuts that form his 'Working Ways EP', it lands on vinyl and digital for release on 27 October.

An undercurrent of sly disruption shapes the record’s flow: tracks tease and redirect, shifting from glassy, bouncing motifs to short, metallic gestures that slide, snap, or vanish. Drum-plate tones are left raw and unpolished, amplifying their own raw percussive character.

As the record deepens, its playful surfaces give way to something darker, more disorienting - syncopated, controlled, and quietly relentless. What starts as a light-handed rhythmic tease slowly descends into something more vindictive and volatile: a glacial hypnosis layered with tension and a restrained kind of malice.
