Reverse Rituals VA (Compiled by Haptic) Reverse Rituals is a conceptual compilation created in reverse as part of a creative process/experiment in the creative process. Initiated with the creation of the track titles and artwork, each producer was provided with a short video, who then used the artwork and video as their inspiration to create the tracks they felt suit the imagery and title. Each set of conceptual artwork and video was assigned to two producers, delivering two versions of each track, and eight tracks in total. Our resident shamanic monster Haptic was heavily involved in development of the titles, the artworks, the videos and consulted throughout the process, in additional creating a unique pack of 20 ritual-based samples that the producers were encouraged to use in their tracks. Reverse Rituals is here to cast spells over your dancefloor.

Fresh off his recently released 'Pyramid' EP, the king of Canadian psytech returns to Techgnosis with an impeccable rendition of Ben Rama's tune 'Memeplex'.  Zentrix deftly combines chunky tech rhythms, glitched out atmospheres and a dark and foreboding vocal sample to round out this top-notch remix.

I started this track just after I finished writing my Zenon EP, which roughly means 3 years ago. It changed quite a lot as I had trouble getting the kick bass right but in the end I am quite happy with the result. 
I tried to make the structure a bit special by having two different vibes "fighting" for each other (the classic psygressive style and something more aggressive and complex), each delimited with the "entering second cycle" voice sample @ 4:00 and 8:20. (Also there's South Park sample) Enjoy !

Agony of Discipline (VA - A Pinch of Thoughts, Zenon Records)

This track introduces a new style I'm exploring: darker, slower, and always simple, repetitive, powerful.
