Wow thanks for the honour Ben Rama . This was a live recording from my 3rd ever monthly Night Flight streaming show on our private PurePsyence portal. It was such a pleasure to pull an all Techgnosis set together and I’ve always loved a building progression which the label makes almost too easy to achieve with each track a solid winner. Honestly, even after 20 years of djing, it felt like cheating when I was shortlisting the tracks and I had a huge grin on my face when I heard it all come together live. How anyone who loves this type of techno does not know about Techgnosis records is beyond me. Keep ‘em coming Ben!

Iboga Records’ own monthly show, presenting the label’s artists and releases through live and DJ sets and interviews, made exclusively and published for the first time on radiOzora.
The story of Iboga Records began in the beginning of the 90´s when an organization called “Rotundum” arranged several events in the period between 1990-97 in the greater area of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dj’s Amon, Banel, and Emok were 3 of the 25 involved in the group, and after years of event organizing & performing, the idea of a Copenhagen record label, a platform for a new progressive electronic sound was beginning to take shape.
A studio was started, and in 1993 the first C.D. compilation (Tabernanthe) was released. It consisted mainly of the newest and freshest Scandinavian sounds of that time, and it was in these early days that the artists Beat Bizarre, Phony Orphants, Oryx, Reefer Decree, and Lurifax, made their first groundbreaking releases and started to build a very strong reputation on the Iboga label.
Today the Iboga artist roster includes names such as Behind Blue Eyes, Phony Orphants, Antix, FREq, Liquid Soul, Perfect Stranger, Sun Control Species, Flowjob, Ace Ventura, Beat Bizarre, and Reefer Decree.
Furthermore Iboga records have a sub label, “Sofa Beats” (downbeat and chill-out / ambient). Since the early days Banel & Emok have been working hard on establishing the label on a global level. It is one of the leading in its genre and they assure that the label will keep delivering those beautiful & amazing sounds that have become the trademark of Iboga Records.

Nokturnal's sound covers a very wide range of genres but his true passion is for music that draws you in deep and relentlessly moves you forward. A complex flirtation between the dark and the light is a common theme in his sets, the purposeful layering of gorgeous haunting vocals over blistering psy-tech is where you find him lost in his art.

For over a decade Nokturnal represented the Zenon label where he oversaw the Sea of Vapours project which was voted the #2 progressive psytrance compilation / DJ mix of the year on Isratrance. A few years later his DJ mix Zenonesque charted at #3 on Beatport from over 3500 mixes.

Travelling the world to perform at and take part in the global music community, while sharing the stage with artists he has loved and respected forever and a day, has been a profound honour. Currently a DJ for Weapon Records, Nokturnal is THRILLED to now be sharing his passion for top-tier music by joining the Techgnosis crew! Rumour has it Ben Rama may have been inspired by Nokturnal at some point (only he knows that for sure) but one thing is for certain today, the shoe is absolutely and gratefully on the other foot!!

DJ Ipcress (Chris) has been at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene for over 10 years. Having honed his unique psychedelic techno sound in the London warehouse parties of the mid 2000’s, he moved seamlessly to the festival circuit and has played many gnarly events since 2007. Combining the driving basslines of contemporary techno and the melodic structures derived from his background in psychedelic music you can expect a journey as the layers are built up and groove locked in. In 2012 he teamed up with Ben Coda and launched the famous NANOPLEX LIVE project which has captivated fans around the world with 3 albums, a number of high profile EP’s and performances at Boom, Ozora, Rainbow Serpent, Glastonbury and Noisily Festival to name a few. You can find Ipcress collaborating with the best in the biz, predominantly releasing his records on his home label IbogaTech. 

Chris is also one of the main pillars of Noisily Festival, a well-known UK festival that has grown leaps and bounds over the years, providing a unique space for the psychedelic subculture to flourish.
