Noisia - Blown - Motorstorm Apocalypse (FREE DOWNLOAD)

A few months ago I wrote a short rant about the seeming discrepancy between what DJ's thought everyone liked to hear and what might be more appropriate for getting in touch with their audience. At major events it often feels as though the DJ isn't spending any time developing a trust based relationship with their audience first, that they have no interest in putting in a little bit of effort to seduce their audience. 

I recorded this mix in my headphones at Disorient camp this year (2012). I wanted to try to build a mix that would be a real gentleman to its dance floor suitors, and treat them like with a bit of class and style. It's not that I didn't want to play some heavy beat tunes, I just wanted to felt like I'd earned the right to do it, first. 

Because of a scheduling hiccup I never got to play this set for an audience, so I sat on it after getting home and waited until it felt like a good time to share it with my friends and cherished dance floor heroes. After the amazing emotional highs and energy that were expressed at Myschevia (the north texas burn) this past weekend, I think the time is now. 

This one's for you. I love you guys.

you know man back a little while ago everyone and their mom wanted to get famous making music.... id like to think the craze died out but in reality everone wants to be heard. that being said.... please just listen to my music, download it, remix it, play it..... i feel it....someone else feels it too. thats a fact. any dope vocalists please msg me and we can do some dope stuff. my best work is not on soundcloud. i appreciate all the artists that use this tool to get heard, let us all not forget why we do this....music is awesome and everyone deserves to be be heard...
