Before Technimatic there was Technicolour & Komatic. And before that, in the mid 2000s, we both made and released music as solo artists.

This new project - the ‘Original Structures EP’ - investigates our origins and takes a look at some of the blueprints that form the Technimatic sound.

The opening salvo comes courtesy of 'Make Me Feel' by Komatic, a kinetic, hypnotic dance floor weapon that has been doing serious damage in clubs for the past 12 months.

“The blueprint for this was very much as something strictly for the clubs. The skeleton of the idea I’d formed just after we finished our last album ‘Through The Hours’. I wanted us to have something completely new, something to throw in during the DJ sets that had a slightly harder edge. For us both, it’s always been really important that the DJ sets feel different, that you will always hear music you haven’t heard anywhere else, and especially that you’ll hear new and different music from us. That is part of the excitement in performing live, both for us and hopefully those that come and see us.” - Andy
