Taking over the decks this week with two hours of unflinching groove engineering, Tresor resident DJ and Unrush boss Mareena pulls out the big guns. All in layered atmospheric finesse, streamlined rhythmic architecture and nimble transitions, Mareena's mix vouches for her impeccable mixing skillset and pristine curation. Blending hi-impact, big room-focussed wares and clever detours into further experimental-leaning territories, the German artist captures a compelling snapshot of her current musical headspace, combining the finest of hi-tech dubs with vanguard electronics and stripped-down floor destroyers bound to wreak havoc all the way from the basement to the rooftop. 스페인을 넘어 영국, 독일, 네덜란드, 러시아, 이탈리아 등 전 유럽에 걸쳐 사랑받고 있는 디제이 Aiken은, 80년대 중반 스페인에서 태어나 디트로이트 테크노, 베를린 사운드, 그리고 UK 테크노 등의 다양한 영향을 받았으며, 가장 순수한 테크노부터 딥 테크노, 일렉트로, IDM까지 폭넓은 사운드를 아우르고 있다. Aiken은 여러 디지털 레이블에서 EP 앨범을 발표한 이후, 2011년 Semantica Records에서 EP "Mer"를 발매하며 피지컬 포맷으로 데뷔했다. 그 후 Non Series, KEY Vinyl, Chronicle 등 존경받는 레이블에서 발표한 작업들은 세계적인 테크노 아티스트들로부터 많은 지지를 받았고 여러 차트에 진입했다. 2015년에는 자신의 플랫폼인 Timeline을 설립하여 다양한 영향을 결합한 창의성을 표현하고 있다.

Aiken is a Spanish artist born in the mid-80s, influenced by diverse sources such as Detroit techno, the Berlin sound, and music produced in the UK, among others. As a DJ, his sets cover a wide spectrum of sounds ranging from the purest forms of techno to deeper variations, as well as electro and IDM. As a producer, after releasing on several digital labels, he made his physical debut in 2011 with the EP “Mer” on Semantica Records. Since then, his releases on Non Series, KEY Vinyl, and Chronicle have been charted and supported by leading figures in the global techno scene. In 2015, he launched his own platform, Timeline, with the aim of expressing his creativity by combining different influences. All of these projects have contributed to his DJ sets being enjoyed in top clubs across countries such as England, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, and Italy.

Uplifting master illitheas is back on Abora with yet another massive epic track: "Sapphire Sky".

The original mix starts off with a deep kick, followed by driving basslines that very quickly set the pace. With the first parts of the melody kicking in, we realize that something serious is about to happen. The breakdown that follows next is very calm and gives a sense of flying. But this is only to better prepare us for an explosive climax, where euphoric leads and acid sounds take us on a perfect rollercoaster ride!

The club mix features a shorter breakdown that will keep the tension higher on the dancefloor.

Finally, the release includes a radio edit, which is a shortened version of the original mix.
