TBX Records welcomes Australian talent Paluma to the label, releasing an uncompromising two-track ep titled 'Hands On' EP. Introducing the first track, Paluma features a bouncy beat that leads you and all the dancefloor up with an extra busy bassline, deep rhythmic stabs and an old-school spoken vocal which are combined in a perfect harmony delivering an impressive vibe. Next up we're feeling wavy with a collaboration between Paluma and Tyson O'Brien called 'Speak To Tha Yung', which delivers a powerful minimal/deep tech groove. Premiere: Paluma & Tyson O'Brien - Speak To Tha Yung [TBX Records]

Stemming from over 5 years of high-calibre parties across the UK and beyond, BINARY's record label is the next chapter in the evolution of the Liverpool-based club brand. 

Label head Riley takes the floor for the imprint's inaugural release - the Liverpool talent steps up with three hard-hitting rollers across his It's Like That EP. The title track kicks things off with rolling sub-bass and choppy vocals, whilst Northern Selecta weaves carribean-influenced vocal samples with subby undertones. Rounding off the EP, Received Location (4AM Mix) adds a Deep House touch that wouldn't seem out of place on dancefloors in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Jamie Jones recruits Max Dean for ‘Start Screamin’ on Hottrax this July. 

Previously appearing on Resonance, Deeperfect, South Records, and more, Max Dean’s productions receive vast amounts of support from the likes of Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now readying his first release for Jones’ Hottrax imprint, the UK-based DJ/producer drops two groove-laden tracks, marking some of his strongest productions to date. 

Leading the release, the title track ‘Start Scream’ brings swung drums, bouncy basslines, and memorable vocal licks together for an undeniable groover. ‘Yes Baby’ follows suit, bringing another welcome house cut, peppered with spoken word and eerie synth hits over funky low end and skippy percussion.

Fusing rumbling low-ends, slinking metallic drums and evolving electronic beneath hooky hip-hop samples, title  cut ‘Get On The Floor’ is a signature Rossi. track made for big dance floor moments, while ‘Mode’ is a skippy,  playful production bringing a bumping groove guided by trippy vox interjections. The B-side brings further fresh  flavours as ‘Pass The Blunt’ builds from crisp percussion arrangements and cheeky samples for a rolling terrace  number, before the slick ‘I Wanna Dance’ shapes up the package with another trademark slice of bubbling late 
night house.
