A familiar name across both Solid Grooves and Solid Grooves Raw in recent years with solo productions alongside collaborations with partner-in-crime Luca M, Romanian DJ and producer JUST2 is back again to serve up the goods. Making a quick return to sister-imprint Raw, he closes October with a shadowy effort as he drops his new single 'Wasted'.

Channelling the effortless drum grooves and airy melodies Romanian artists are well known for with his own tougher take on the genre, 'Wasted' balances light vocals with darker rumbling sub-bass for a subtle yet certified crowd mover.

Having released on labels like Lemon-aid, NoExcuse, Natura Viva and Natural Rhythm, the Spanish producer has undoubtedly earned his stripes as a producer – a fact further enforced by regular support from Marco Carola, Stefano Noferini, wAFF and PAWSA. He now joins Solid Grooves Records, Michael Bibi and PAWSA’s thriving imprint that’s seen a landmark year with releases from Dennis Cruz, Leftwing & Kody, ANOTR and Brett Gould. With catchy lyrics and sharp snares, ‘Bust & Shake’ is an archetypal Solid Grooves cut complete with energetic percussion and a rolling bassline. Meanwhile, ‘Let’s Go’ serves up a compelling groove with echoing drums, soulful vocals and a sultry low-end.

We are back with another distinctively signature percussion-led release to add to our Libero catalogue. This time it comes from the triple threat of Alessio Bianchi and Tomi&Kesh with two fresh cuts, along with slamming remix of the b-side from Music On favourite Antonio Pica to complete the three-track arsenal. 

‘Roll It Up’ gets things off to a flying start with perpetual rhythm. Tonal toms, shuffled hats and offbeat shots are joined up with a brightly coloured sub bass melody and perfectly balanced drums. Thrown on top is a subtly measured level of atmospherics and vocal presence, making it a well-rounded groove tool and definite vibe builder.

‘Wake & Bake’ carries on the great work of its predecessor with relative ease, using melodic percussive factors to supplement a pleasantly over-sufficient, driving, low bassline. Intricately layered sampling fills out the main body of the track and blends perfectly into the main drum programming, creating hypnotic rolling energy that will keep you moving effortlessly.

Libero favourite, Antonio Pica, seals the deal with an assertively powerful remix of ‘Wake & Bake’. Built around a jacking beat, consisting of hammering kicks, pulsating low bass and a crispy top line; it definitely commands a certain level of attention. Taking influence from memories of the Music On terrace and tracks that inspire a roar from a crowd, he turns it all the way up to 11 with this peak time driver.
