Sameule Scelfo makes his Hottrax debut this April with ‘Funky Like F’. 

Following his 2021 debut on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘My Father in Ibiza 1988’, which picked up a myriad of supporters, including Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, Davide Squillace and Andrea Oliva, Italian DJand producer Samuele Scelfo is back with more heat. This time, the Morositas club resident’s peak-time blends land on sister label Hottrax for the first time with ‘Funky Like F’. 

I’m honoured to release again on Jamie's label! This EP was born to break the dance floor, two energetic tracks for the peak time. Both tracks were born after the first lockdown, during the reopening of clubs in Italy.I was inspired by the need for the typical club atmosphere that I missed during the pandemic. - Samuele Scelfo 

Rattling drums and hissing snares let loose in the percussive ‘Funky Like F’ as elastic basslines are compressed in true Hottrax style, before rumbling low-ends, stuttering vocals and ravey stabs keep the energy high in the closing track ‘Gravity Falls’.
