From Germany’s feted pair of half-century makers comes urgent tribal application converging on your sweat glands. ‘Twelve Monkeys’ has Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck sending out streams of sonar signals and fast lane flashes to colour plain-speaking dancefloor tenancy that jets past with physicality and fullness. ‘Sixth Sense’ is not one to lighten the load, administering deep techno stealth marked by keys that effervesce eerily from underneath, and hi-hats shaken by a lining of bass running operations with a firm hand. Two sparse, low yet powerful arena takeovers that won’t slacken their grip once the jugular is in their grasp.

'The mysterious Black Shade makes his debut on Fatima Hajji’s distinctive techno imprint, Silver M, with his brand new Pitch Black EP on 8th October. 
 
Black Shade is a new techno project/guise created by a very well-known tech house artist that would like to remain anonymous and let the music do all the talking.

The 3-track EP comprises of two original tracks, ‘Pitch Black’ and ‘Isolation’, plus a heady acid-tinged rework of the title-track from Holland’s established techno DJ/producer Steve Mulder. All three tracks are uncompromising undiluted techno weapons which have been designed to destroy dancefloors across the world.

Black Shade Pitch Black EP (Incl. Steve Mulder Remix) is available exclusively via Beatport from 8th October and everywhere else two weeks later.'

Gregor Tresher, Petar Dundov - Palladium [SCI+TEC]

While Tronic Radio recently had its 400th episode Laurent Garnier delivered a storming set for us. One of the stand out tracks was undoubtedly the elegant Detroit influenced track by Jules Wells and Mason Rubinstein - Revolutionary Time. We decided to license this track from the well-respected label, Hijacked, to give the song a new life and add some modern remixes. For the remixes, we recruited our favorite Japanese artist, Drunken Kong. While staying true to the original, Drunken Kong added some percussion and their trademark energy, with an epic break. Much love to Detroit Techno!
