With „Once In A Blue Moon“, French duo Cléry & Catartsis introduce their collaborative project Inherent Stasis on Schimmer Records’ digital sublabel Liquid One. As their debut, this five-track EP sets the tone for a sound that is both detailed and reduced, hypnotic and driving.
The release floats between trippy drones, bleepy minimalism and stripped-back rhythmic structures. Each track is carefully shaped — spacious in its arrangement, yet grounded in groove and functionality. The focus lies on clarity and atmosphere, creating a deep, club-oriented listening experience without relying on excess.
A strong first statement from Inherent Stasis — precise, explorative and full of
subtle tension.

Wie ein Junge bei seinem 1. Kuss verspürt der 1975 in Rostock geborene Oliver Eichler immernoch Schmetterlinge im Bauch, wenn er - während er in Sonnenbrille und Cabrio durch seine Wahlheimat Hamburg cruist - den Sound der aktuellsten House und Techno-Scheiben genießt. Dieses Kribbeln im Bauch wanderte spätestens 2006 schließlich in seine Hände und Finger und so begann er nicht nur Musik zuhören sondern eben diese auch in seinen eigenen 4-Wänden selber zu mixen. Nach ersten kleineren Auftritten packte ihn die Leidenschaft gänzlich und „Oliver Eich“ wurde ins Leben gerufen.

Die Begeisterung für die Musik mit anderene, feierwütigen Gleichgesinnten zu teilen war stets Oliver Eichs Priorität. Daher scheint es nur naheliegend, dass ihm das Bedroom-Mixing nie wirklich befriedigte. Ob im Club, auf Open-Airs oder bei Freunden zuhause: Gemeinsam Musik konsumieren, das ist das, was Oliver Eich mit schierer Freude erfüllt. Er war seit 2011 Mitglied bei der Partycommunity "Heimatmelodie" und ist in diesem Jahr zu" Ostklang" gewechselt, die mit ihrer Partyreihe "Seid Bereit" ihren musikalischen Beitrag in Hamburg leisten. In jedem seiner Sets, die sich musikalisch sehr vielfältig gestalten, spürt man diese Freude. Doch voller Ehrgeiz und Elan reichte ihm es nicht mehr, seinen Sound nur Hamburgern zu präsentieren. Daher schallen seine Sets in jüngster Zeit öfters auch in Clubs außerhalb der Hansestadt. Dank seiner Residence beim Online-Radio „Strom:Kraft“ kommen Leute aus allen Herren Ländern regelmäßig in den Genuss, seine Liebe zur Musik auch im trauten Heim zu spüren.

Doch selbst das war ihm nicht genug. Um sein ganzes Repertoire an Sounds auflegen zu können, genügte es eben nicht nur, unter dem Dj-Projekt „Oliver Eich“ zu spielen. Seine harte, dunkle, technoide Seite schlummerte bisweilen und es war nur eine Frage der Zeit, wann diese endlich ausbrechen würde: "Oliver Storm" steht für die Art von Techno, bei der garantiert jedes Clubdach explodiert.

- So, the full story behind this recording is... that I played a set, on November 7,  on one of the best club nights I have ever experienced in Sweden, at a location without a name, a warehouse venue outside of Stockholm. It was a private party for ~200 people, with a truly beautiful underground kind of vibe that I have never, ever felt before like this in Stockholm, an open minded, playful crowd that would have fitted perfectly into Berlin's Kitcat Klub and Berghain, no questions asked, just pure positive energy pumping though the venue.  I was on between 01-03 and I had plugged in my ZOOM recorder to record the set (you know, just in case it turns out really well, you want it there forever, right?). So, after finishing off with the amazing beats of Monika Kruse and Team Deep's "Morninglight" with a room boiling with positive energy and dancing souls, I looked down to find my recording device wet and broken in a puddle of someone's spilled out drink :( I tried not to think about it too much and enjoyed the night by dancing it away to the amazing and pounding beats of Lego and Philippa Pacho <3  As I mentioned, this was one of the best club nights I had ever experienced on Swedish soil, so coming home the day after, even though full of happiness, I could not shake the sad feeling emerging from the fact that the set had not been captured. Well, Monday came and I still could not shake the feeling of the importance of this club night, soooo I decided to make a home recording of the set that I played that night in "Technobunkern" (as we called it). And here it is. I hope you will enjoy it.

Mit ihrem unverkennbaren Tech-House Sound, erinnert sie uns daran, dass trotz beißender Kälte, die Tage wieder länger werden und der Frühling in greifbare Nähe rückt. Wir drehen jetzt jedenfalls die Heizung auf, ziehen unser Sommeroutfit an und machen das Wohnzimmer zum Dancefloor. 

February kicks off with a high-energy mix that lets us dance gently through the dark season. With her unmistakable tech-house sound, Praise reminds us that despite the biting cold, the days are getting longer again and spring is within reach. In any case, we are now turning up the heater, putting on our summer outfits and transforming the living room into a dance floor.
