Седьмой гостевой микс для Techno Exhibition от московского художника и диджея Oddgrower. Алексей Журавлев, давний друг и соратник московских формаций СВОРА и ПЕТЛЯ, за годы знакомства стал верным другом для ТЕ. Мы разделяем его пристальный интерес к странным мрачным синтезам, сюрреалистическому звучанию и абстрактному пост-индустриальному шаманизму. Микс наполнен резкими ретро-футуристичными гармониями, которые придают всей работе по-хорошему олд-скульную и субкультурную атмосферу. Лёша, как удачливый gold digger, намывает «золотого песка» на мультижанровом прииске и щедро делится с нами.

Восьмой микс для Techno Exhibition записала молодая артистка и шаманка в восьмом поколении @ap0llinaris, Полина Пастовенская. 

Я много раз говорила, что всегда ищу историю в миксах. И, впервые услышав Полину в подкасте для Кинематики, была впечатлена ее умением создавать это самое journey. Также её «валентинка» — это дань уважения магичной атмосфере JOY: совершенному слиянию тела, души и духа, пахтанию темных океанов меланхолии в поисках священных артефактов,  превращению свинца будней в золотое сияние наших сердец. Наша с вами истинная любовь.

For his sixth 96 Back LP, Evan Majumdar-Swift found himself writing “a long form eulogy” to his years living in Manchester while preparing for an imminent move to London. Initially intended as a series of technical exercises, which saw the artist radically stripping back his established production setup, over the last two years tender, exit gradually took on the form of an emotional landscape, mapped in transit between two cities. “The overarching concept of the record is cycles, recognising them, loving them, and tearing yourself away from them,” he says. Heard together, the project takes on the pace and cadence of a passionate conversation with a loved one.

Schwefelgelb take a visionary approach to production, using technological advances to push the boundaries of music creation. Their process typically begins with sound design experimentation, favouring the creation of original sounds over the use of pre-existing loops and samples. This methodology results in a signature sound characterised by crisp, powerful drums and percussion, masterfully blending the raw intensity of industrial techno with the ﬂuid progression characteristic of Detroit techno.

This is my debut as a producer - the first time I let something move through me and take form as sound.

I didn’t set out to write a dance track. I set out to open a space.
Something between ritual and release. Something physical, but not entirely human.
The beat came first - raw, steady, hypnotic - and then it started to build.
With each layer, I felt like I was summoning something ancient, something that had no name, just weight and presence.
