The passion for electronic music started already in 2004, at that time with drum'n'bass and under the name Flash 
Gorgo. 2015 even an own album was released on CrossBase Records. However, energetic, bass-heavy sound has
always been an important trademark. In 2018, after a short break from DJ life, the resurrection took place with a 
rekindled love: dark minimal techno and under a new name "The Renaissance" - inspired by the rebirth in the 
techno world. As co-founder of Tiefdruck project, The Renaissance is responsible for stage design and as a strong 
hand in organizing everything that has weight and substance in the collective. Besides the Tiefdruck project, he has
played numerous gigs in clubs and at smaller festivals in Europe over the years. The first own productions in the 
studio are already in the making. Keep your ears open.

Grauton #041 | THE RENAISSANCE

I had the honour to play at the Expedition Südpol on the 19th May 2024 in Hamburg. The floor was upstairs and the time was 8 - 10 am. This set is a bridge from Minimal to House.

This is a re-recording of my set at IFZ, because the recording device didn't work properly. Although I hit my head so hard while playing that I started bleeding, I had an amazing time. Blood, sweat, but no tears!

I'm still speechless. Thank you to all the amazing people who were a part of this spectacle at Habitat Festival. The Hangar filled up quickly and the atmosphere was so magical - especially the lightshow and the soundsystem made these two hours unforgettable.
