Original song has this, this little hint of sorrow buried within, but uplifting melodies put you back on track - looking at yourself right here right now, with occasional glance towards future. And its such a great feeling, I think that that is why people love this song. And then, there is your version. With sax being (for me) only instrument that can so precisely pierce that feeling of melancholy and longing of sorts, that its use in this song amplified emotions on so many levels, underlining that bittersweet past and sending it through catharsis.
