Afonso Esperança aka Backbone is a Portuguese DJ and producer who arises from the underground scene connected to several projects in the North of Portugal. He is the founder of "Vinculum", a newborn boutique festival in Mondim de Basto that approaches electronic music in its full spectrum.

His music was released in some local labels such as O'Clock and Elberec, and recently caught the attention of Nastia's Nechto Records, exploring energetic rhythms in a raw and precise way.

This is a recording of my closing set at the dystopic DIE ZUFLUCHT club event in  Oslo. Expect deep hypnotizing melodies and rolling techno grooves, and a few surprises along the musical journey. This set includes tracks from a wide range of brilliant artists such as Rene Wise, Rødhåd, Burial, Dold, Matrixxman, Arnaud le Texier, Otik, and more. DYGA, czyli Gosia Wojciechowska, DJ-ka, promotorka, łowczyni młodych talentów. Założycielka projektu pro.TONE, którego wyjątkowością jest otwartość na współpracę z artystami z całego kraju oraz wspieranie DJ-ek i DJ-ów, którzy stawiają na scenie pierwsze kroki. Na koncie ma organizację 2 sezonów cyklu „open decks”, w trakcie których trójmiejskiej publiczności zaprezentowało się prawie 60 młodych artystów. Lokalnie związana z gdańskim lokalem Czudner SPOT, w którym organizuje cykl imprez „SUBATOMIC”. W muzyce ceni różnorodność, łączenie nieoczywistych dźwięków, głębie i wielowymiarowość kompozycji. Te wszystkie elementy stara się wyeksponować podczas swoich występów.
