After a short break due to a few scheduling issues, we are super excited to continue the series and present the 78th podcast featuring a good fixing of 4x4 groove-laden power from Palma!

Palma is a producer and DJ based in Lisbon (Portugal) focusing on fast-paced techno rhythms. His approach to production is simple but effective, resulting in straightforward dance-floor oriented tracks.
His sound is heavily influenced by earlier techno productions while also maintaining a contemporary feel. Some of his works have gathered early support from established names such as Setaoc Mass, Rene Wise and MARRØN.

As usual, turn up the volume and enjoy the mix!

For our 189th Podcast, we’ve invited the San Francisco-based DJ and producer, Max Gardner. 
Max created a one-hour mix for the PT Podcast series, in which he starts deeper and controlling, and then takes things up a notch to create a dance floor ambience. Listen to the sound for the next hour, enjoy! 

[BIO]:
Techno is a layered phenomenon. On the surface level is the talk, fleeting and temporary. Beneath it lies an intricate web woven by all manner of creatives and intellectuals. At the center of it all is the sound itself, and it is in this realm of sonic abstraction that you find Max Gardner.

The San Francisco DJ and producer did not initially pursue electronic music with ambitions to promote himself as a brand. Doors opened nonetheless, and they never stopped. He is now one of the artists most closely associated with Bay Area techno, releasing on labels like Occultists, Resource Records and Northern Parallels.

His often psychedelic, sometimes suspenseful, always hypnotic range of the techno spectrum has afforded him audiences in cities across the globe. He’s performed at clubs like MUTE in Medellin, Leland City Club and The Works in Detroit, Beta Nightclub in Denver, and Desterro in Lisbon. He is also a return guest at gatherings like DEPTH in Seattle and The Great Beyond outside Minneapolis.

Max Gardner lives for the ephemeral moments in which time stands still, where words fail, as pure and honest audio shakes every reveler to their core. To see him behind the decks is to understand that he belongs here. He knows this world intimately. His place in it is permanent.

Hi, I am Anders Abrahamsson, a k a DJ Anders!

Welcome to my World of Sound and Music! Born 1966, I fell in love with music when I was a five year old, where the summer of 1971 was plagued with the infectious synth lead of Pop Corn by the French cover group Hot Butter, and their interpretation of Gershon Kingsley's original from 1969. I've been DJing and arranging parties since 1979. 

Affiliated with NEMCOM [Norrköping Electronic Music Community, Est. 2002, Reg. 2003], for 16 years, as an artist firstly, then arranging numerous of events with two-figure number of event concepts/formats, and three-figure number guest artists through the years. Development of local DJs and artists is also a core activity in our community and association, taking place in our local #NKPGLearnSpace by NEMCOM.
