In a world where AI seems to take over everything, this show recycles / revisits musical experiments from the now 30-year-old zzz.ch website.
I feed fragments of past compositions into AI to generate, remix, and reinterpret them as an infinite stream of slop. I also reverse-play the process, shaping outputs by hand.
As the machine shifts through styles with only a partial grasp of the original, it may offer a glimpse into how we can engage this inevitable technology in a more sensuous and playful way. slop.is

Jaroska - Inflect Records on Melodic Distraction Radio (December '20)

Santino Surfers walks the sunny latitudes of guitar music legacy to concoct an amorphous blend of chilled-out, soulful, and melodically lavish material. Imagine twangy 60’s black and white guitars splashed with neon color and dusty country rock curls in distorted gleam.

The ‘surf’ sound is prevalent throughout the work (hence the name), setting the dial at laid back, grooving and liberated moods that probe the frontiers of the psychedelic. The music is mostly instrumental with occasional visits by vocals and vocoders.

‘Three Corners One View’ is the second single. It sits comfortably bopping on an upbeat break, steady bass waving while guitars paint sweet and dreamy figures in the afternoon sky.

A few more singles will follow, leading up to a full-length album release on Music For Dreams. Special thanks to Koda Kultur & Musikforlæggerne for supporting this project.

Manfredas is envisioning this set in a very unique way, in his words:
“These days I usually have one day a week that is only listening to music, so basically it’s the abstract summary of that. Searching for new things, but also going deep into my personal archives. I dare to say most of it is dance music, but not for clubs. More like going into that strangle place in our heads where we dance now. I like that space, it's much more loose, not so much locked in usual tempos and structures.”

TECHNOBETON are two people who started a corporation in Sofia, Bulgaria as a joint venture between 100% TECHNO and 100% BETON. The company aims to translate beats and basslines to concrete tracks and builds them in real scale and in 100% BETON, thus examining certain spatial and sculptural properties of contemporary Techno music. In a second conceptual loop the built concrete is being liquified to sound tracks and arranged in a loud timeline to 100% TECHNO. All together 100% TECHNO + 100% BETON react in a self-sufficient closed circuit and form the sound and vision of TECHNOBETON.

TECHNOBETON has a psychedelic shadow twin - DISCOBETON, which is responsible for softer Beton. 
TECHNOBETON is also a founding member of abstract baltech collective DIVINE DESIGN
Hassen Markov used to be once a part of TECHNOBETON, but now is a mysterious producer on his own.
