Space 92 - The Game

As a follow up to our latest compilation on Techno Brooklyn Records, we decided to go all in with our first individual release.  Hailing from Germany, we are proud to present techno superstars Teenage Mutants along with rising electronic artist, Xeno (Ch). The co-producers came forth and were able to successfully uplift our spirits during these dark times with a beautifully constructed, hard-hitting and synth-heavy masterpiece called ‘Union.’ 

The German standouts have had the pleasure of releasing on some of the world’s most prominent techno labels such as Terminal M, Tronic, and Filth on Acid, while having their share of appearances within the festival circuit.

As we gear up for a more positive 2021, we are beyond delighted to start things off on the right foot - welcoming Teenage Mutants & Xeno (Ch) to the Techno Brooklyn Records family. ✚

Celebrating three decades in the electronic music arena, French powerhouse Kiko continues to evolve with effortless class. His latest release, Bak Bak EP, lands on Miss Monique’s melodic techno imprint, Siona Records, showcasing his signature blend of tension, emotion, and machine-driven precision.

“Bak Bak” opens the EP with high-octane flair. Cinematic yet controlled, it fuses taut synthlines, crisp percussion, and sweeping atmospheres to create a perfectly paced peak-time moment. Futuristic and bold, it reflects Kiko’s ability to channel drama and depth in equal measure.

On the flip, “Like a Robot” dives into a more brooding, hypnotic zone. Mechanical and moody, its angular synths and percussive grooves move with robotic finesse, while delicate harmonic layers add soul beneath the steel. The result is a dark-edged roller that still carries an emotional core — classic Kiko.

With over 30 years in the game, Kiko continues to push boundaries. Following a wave of major releases on labels like Afterlife, Diynamic, Watergate, etc. His 2024 highlights include the high-profile collaboration of his track HOME with David Guetta and Olivier Giacomotto on Spinnin’ Records, as well as his forthcoming studio album Digital Family featuring Agoria, Etienne de Crécy, Oxia, and more.

Oh Yes, Oh Yes! Carl Cox delivers a huge remix of Hannah Wants & Kevin Knapp's 'Call Me' and it lands on Toolroom!

The original landed back in September last year and Carl Cox was hammering it all Summer. He played it in every set for 6 months and crowned it his tune of the Summer. Hannah Wants dropped it at every festival, party and club all over the world and it's fair to say it reached anthem status pretty quickly!

It's an honour to welcome Carl Cox on remix duties, he's nothing short of a Dance Music legend and is the godfather of the British rave scene. The UK legend was responsible for a 15 year strong resident at the infamous Space Nightclub in Ibiza so it's no wonder he's still known as 'the heartbeat of the global dance music scene.'

Being respectful to the original, he's kept the vocals from Kevin Knapp apparent in the mix, but adds his own stamp to things by ramping up the bpm to 132 and adding some dark techno elements and shed-loads of funky percussion. It's a tough, driving techno stomper with big moments and builds. One for the heads!
