Erick Freire a.k.a DERICK, iniciou sua caminhada na cena eletrônica há 20 anos tocando breakbeat nas noites de Brasília e hoje não abre mão da versatilidade nos decks. Já foi parte da crew do Parque Sonoro e fundador do Projeto Mini Room, toca muito som com influências da cultura underground e bass music, mas seu principal case artístico é o Techno. Passou os primeiros anos de sua carreira sem se prender a um estilo específico, com um som carregado de muito grave, indo do UK Garage ao Future bass, passando pelo Liquid e 2step. Já integrou o line-up de festas como: Techtronic, Perde A Linha, Laboratório, Love Parade, Paranóia, Parque Sonoro, Rockstep, PlayOn, Mini Room, NEXT, Drop Acid Not Bombs, Santo Techno, Loch, Synthetic, Dot Sessions, Praia Sunset, entre outras.

Atualmente, integrante, DJ e produtor cultural do Coletivo Hangover, Derick apresenta em seus sets elementos de tudo o que influenciou sua história na música. Com um som contemporâneo e ao mesmo tempo vanguardista, o que podemos esperar de suas apresentações é muito peso, influências e pesquisa de novas atmosferas sonoras.

Erick Freire a.k.a DERICK, started his journey in the electronic scene 20 years ago playing breakbeat on nights in Brasília and today he doesn't give up his versatility on the decks. He was part of the Parque Sonoro crew and founder of the Mini Room Project. He plays a lot of music with influences from underground culture and bass music, but his main artistic focus is Techno. He spent the first years of his career without sticking to a specific style, with a very bass-heavy sound, ranging from UK Garage to Future bass, including Liquid and 2step. He has already been part of the line-up of parties such as: Techtronic, Perde A Linha, Laboratório, Love Parade, Paranóia, Parque Sonoro, Rockstep, PlayOn, Mini Room, NEXT, Drop Acid Not Bombs, Santo Techno, Loch, Synthetic, Dot Sessions, Sunset Beach, among others.

Currently, a member, DJ and cultural producer of Coletivo Hangover, Derick presents in his sets elements of everything that influenced his history in music. With a contemporary and at the same time avant-garde sound, what we can expect from his performances is a lot of weight, influences and research into new sound atmospheres.
