Sisko Electrofanatik welcomes again Giorgio Rusconi to his label Gain Recordings, for an EP that along with the two originals, also features remixes from The YellowHeads and Many Reasons. 

Giorgio Rusconi is an Italian artist from Milan who has previously released his captivating style on labels such as Respekt, Break New Soil, Phobiq and Solamente.

Along with his many solo tracks he has also collaborated with other influential Italian artists ranging from Deborah De Luca to Daniel Sbert.

Spanish techno titans, The YellowHeads are first up on remix duty, and the duo deliver a gripping remix in the style that had been previously showcased on scene leading labels including Senso Sounds, Filth on Acid, 1605 and their own Reload.

Second of the remixes comes from Many Reasons who are an Italian duo formally known as MiniCoolBoyz, and once again they have delivered another peak time anthem. Their explosive rework is true to the sound they have showcased on other imprints ranging from Terminal M to Octopus.

All of these peak time techno tracks, blend thundering percussion with spine-tingling atmosphere, and intense synth lines.

Originally released in 2018, ‘Space Raiders’ by Eats Everything continues to hang around like ‘that guy’ in the kitchen at parties, the one holding all the ‘party goodies’, the one with the best patter.  Belgian techno queen, Charlotte de Witte, sent her remix of ‘Raiders’ to the #1 slot in 2019, and now marking his 10th year as one of the scene’s most revered and loved DJ/producers, Eats Everything and Kneaded Pains enlist a pair of rising stars to make ‘Raiders’ their own.
 
Space 92 has had an immense 24 months, crowned by Beatport as their top selling techno artist of 2020 and 2021, and leading a new wave of producers & DJs popularising a toxic brew of big room beats and rave inspired tropes.  The young Frenchman’s remix of ‘Space Raiders’ goes straight for the jugular, precision kicks and wide-eyed FX, drum rolls and a playful use of the original’s stab motif all make for a gargantuan sonic experience!
 
Hailing from Northern Ireland, Luciid has been unleashing hardcore dance romps for labels like Autektone Records and Kneaded Pains since 2018, and on his remix, makes sure there is no let up, as pummelling beats and dazzling rides zip past as a rate of knots, acidic tones and a whiff of a breakbeat complete this behemoth version.

Rebirth opens up with cantering drums and flashes of synth that light up the groove. The bass booms and the whole track races forwards, taking you with it. Paulus sets off on big, wooden kick drums that are overlaid with fizzing synth energy and cosmic rays of light. Huge hi hats add scale and an epic breakdown is followed by a powerful drop. Evolve is first and is a big, bouncy acid techno cut with lighting synths and plenty of pent up energy to blow the crowd away. Last of all, Pandemonium ups the ante with swampy bass and synths bringing a dark and dystopian vibe as the hard edge drums bang the groove.

Radio Slave returns to his Rekids imprint with the perfectly balanced ‘Acid Dip’ single.

The titular track on ‘Acid Dip’ sees Matt ‘Radio Slave’ Edwards in particularly strident form. Riding a broken, stuttered-kick rhythm, ‘Acid Dip’ is a jabbing, insistent slice of UK techno shot through with hardcore and, whilst not skimping on raw power, still maintains the hypnotic nature that inhabits much of Edwards’ work. 

On the flip, ‘Armani’ takes off down a dubbed-out, futuristic Italo infused house workout that, throughout its eleven minutes 28 second span, shows a more dense, layered side to Radio Slave production.

German techno producer Michael Klein delivers “Nokaut” EP, an epic 4 track exercise in peak-time rhythms. 

Based in Berlin by way of Frankfurt, BLK DRP boss Michael Klein will drop his next record on @secondstateaudio, “Nokaut EP”. The 4 tracker follows the release of his powerful “No Mercy EP” on the Berlin label earlier this year, and delivers another welcomed edition of Klein’s tough but atmospheric sound.

Taking its place as opener is the title track “Nokaut”. Stomping along with intent, the walloping kick and ravey 303 elements coerces you to move. The robust vocal sample spouts repeatedly while the 303 builds and fades, before storming back in with slapping hi-hats.
