It’s a pleasure to introduce a fresh artist on our own DEAD CERT. Records for this DT:Premiere. The EP titled Inner Awareness has been picking up support from Len Faki, Tommy Four Seven, DJ Rolando, Truncate, Alex.Do, Luigi Madonna and many more.

Making his debut with three stunning tracks is Berliner Caremajor. On the rise, he has releases on Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien, Abstract Mechanisms and new material recently signed to Emmanuel’s ARTS label, he will be one to most definitely look out for.

“Concinnity” is at its heart a nice slice of melodic Techno, that does mislead with a haunting intro from some gothic sounding chords before the crunchy kick gets into full swing and the power is felt. Some nice cuts and breaks pave the way for some additional high notes as this excellently worked track will create an epic atmosphere for any DJ.

Florian Meindl surges ahead in 2017 as he returns once more to his home
base FLASH Recordings. He has been locked away in his studio and is now
ready to unleash his new album ‘Time Illusion’. With these album sessions
Florian has created a special collection of analogue focused tracks which will
be released on a double vinyl album and digitally in the Spring.

Amalgamating his array of impressive hardware, he has refined his sound and
crafted a selection of tracks that demonstrate intricate knowledge and mastery
of his analogue equipment. His aim was to find the right balance between
musical depth and sound design while interacting with the hardware.

In anticipation for the LP release in early April, Florian has prepared a unique
live set featuring a Modular System, the KORG Minilogue, effect boxes and a
909 drum machine which were used in the creation of the album and which he
will be touring throughout 2017.

COMBINE AUDIO: WHERE OLD SCHOOL AND NEW SCHOOL MEET!
 
Barcelona, June 7th 2017 - Talent, experience and a common love for four-deck performances. These magic traits inspired two great ladies of techno, Paula Cazenave and Gayle San, to join forces and start a new record label. Combine Audio is born.
 
Because of their shared passion for techno and impeccable careers as DJs and producers, Paula and Gayle are a match made in heaven. Every time these grand ladies of techno shared the stage over the years, they experienced a huge chemistry and a common drive to do more with techno. The result is the Frankfurt/Barcelona-based record label Combine Audio, ambitiously aiming to surprise techno lovers with twelve digital releases every year, starting July 2017.
 
Old school meets new school: Music that will be released on Combine Audio explores the tension between techno of 'now' and 'then'. This turns out to be the spawning ground for a kind of techno that evokes the grooves and sounds of twenty years ago with the crisp quality of today's recording process. On top of that, there's the plethora of new effects and digital plugins of today's music production world. With all this in mind, Combine Audio literally 'combines' the old school techno and the more actual techno sound, merging them into an amalgamation of a hybrid style. This results in techno tracks that remind of techno from the 80s to early 2000's - a sound that's calling the attention of old school DJs that are still playing nowadays - yet with a fresh vibe.
 
Paula Cazenave and Gayle San Combine Audio co-founders: Paula Cazenave and Gayle San are true techno veterans who have been around the block. Spanish Paula is and always will be techno. She started DJing in 1996 and produces tracks since 2005. She has been rocking clubs and festivals all over Europe for a long time and she reached some top spots like Awakenings and Dreambeach. Singaporean Gayle also kicked off her DJ-career in the nineties and her reputation includes her impeccable three-deck mixing skills that lead her to play in the world's most renowned clubs, e.g. Final Frontier (London), the legendary Omen Club in Frankfurt (the so-called 'Mecca of Techno'), the Lehmann Club (Stuttgart) as well as on the renowned techno festivals Nature One and Awakenings....

Interstate Records is a newborn independent record label based between London and Berlin. It´s run by the up-and-coming duo Dial Tone and aims to provide a vibrant and diverse platform for emerging and established artists within the Techno scene, whilst occasionally touching upon Ambient and other experimental music spheres. All records will be released on vinyl and digital (+ 8 weeks).

As an introduction, the label has put together a release, comprised of some of the scene’s most promising artists. Stretching from heart-melting deepness to pure club functionality, this V/A aims to highlight the different directions ahead, as the label continues to evolve.
