Sending off 2023 immersed in nature and surrounded by good folk. This live collaboration was the first time Tribal Freque and I have joined forces bringing together a unique blend of driving psychedelic bush techno layered with the hypnotic harmonies of the didgeridoo. 
 Despite some technical issues with mic feedback early on we are happy with the end result. Hope you enjoy the journey.

Southern California’s Selective Response is what happens when dedication to self-expression and hard work meet an insatiable passion for techno.  Although new in name, this 27-year-old swiss army knife’s history tells a different tale.

After nearly a decade in the industry, and success through various outlets, January 1st, 2018 saw the birth of Selective Response, a project focused solely on techno, industrial, EBM, and electro. Through this creative outlet has come success and support from the highest echelons in techno and media. Before even releasing any music, Selective Response had already received airplay on BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and Studio Brussel, and become a secret weapon for artists like Amelie Lens, Dax J, Cleric, Gary Beck, and more. Since then, his music has continued to reach the masses through sets from all spectrums of techno, mainstream, and underground. 

As one who's always been a DIY-type, 2019 marks the beginning of a string of powerful releases and the birth of his label Crisis Of Man, with support from Perc, I Hate Models, Remco Beekwilder, Truncate, etc. In terms of sound, his relentless and punishing brand of techno is unique enough to be instantly recognizable, something that can only be achieved after years of work and refinement paired with a desire to not follow trends. Gratitude is the key factor in all of this and is something Selective Response practices daily. With so much accomplished in such a short time, there is nothing but a bright future ahead of him.

We see once again a triumphant return of our Master Cuts series. In this series we collect the outliers and the misfits for some well-deserved time in the spotlights. After the debut of the illusive Welticke, KD RAWs head honchos Kaiserdisco, took on their remixing mantle and delivered a pulverating remix that takes Energizer to a whole new direction, while keeping and eye out for the original. Veteran in the game Axel Karakasis brings us Faced Reflection for a techno behemoth delivering the attitude. Ferhat Albaryrak and Kuvoka bring us Dematerialize. A wonky buzzing affair, with a relentless groove to accompany the mesmerizing leads. On closing duties is friend of the family George Libe with Boostmaster, bringing us a call of the wild combined with a thunderous low end. All tracks bringing the heat. Check it out.
