A lover of many sounds across the electronic music spectrum, New York native Rob Seurat is a staple of the underground techno scene in Brooklyn. He founded the monthly party turned dj collective EXILE in the summer of 2016 at Bossa Nova Civic Club which once notoriously brought in Ansome to play a free show on a Wednesday night. Rob thrives in his ability to curate consistently solid lineups with a blend of locales and out of towners alike. On top of Exile, he also books its monthly spinoff party called “Elixir” which just celebrated its first birthday. EXILE’s roster includes locales A.M.D, FadeFace, and Rabia Khan. 

Seurat’s approach to mixing techno involves fusing tracks together to create points of tedium until they work up to moments where they burst into orchestrated orgies of sound. This raw mix starts off deep then turns into a frenzy only to cool off at the end.
