INVAR is a techno DJ hailing from Athens, Greece currently based in NYC. He was born into a musical family and from a young age has been involved in numerous music endeavors as a multi-instrumentalist and producer. He unexpectedly got warped into the world of techno when introduced to the Berlin underground scene in 2017 and ever since has wholeheartedly devoted himself to creating, performing and promoting techno music. The passion for sharing this new unique experience and the lack of a scene in the PVD nightlife where he resided at the time, led him to curate a series of underground parties which resulted in fostering a community and ignited an ever since ongoing effort to revive the city’s underground scene. His DJ sets span a variety of sonic landscapes ranging from dancefloor-driving minimal, to hypnotic, deep and ethereal journeys. Developing an affection for the faster, hard, transey sound this mix showcases an explosive selection of recent favorites from the new wave of rave.
