"HI-LO, the techno alter-ego of Oliver Heldens debuts on Drumcode with a full-force two-tracker ‘Hypnos’. Unbeknown to many, the Dutch future house star has been cultivating a love of techno separate from his mainstage persona. As HI-LO, he’s remixed Nina Kraviz’s ‘Skyscrapers’ and released on Octopus and Filth on Acid, the latter consisting of collaborations with Reinier Zonneveld, T78 and Will Clarke.
Over the last 12 months, HI-LO has become the sixth highest selling Techno artist on Beatport, as well as cemented his place as a top streaming act in the genre.

His Drumcode debut ‘Hypnos’ is effective and infectious in equal doses. The title track is led by a catchy bass groove that espouses plenty of personality and is a handy tool for building energy throughout the night. ‘Hera’ is a straight-edged euphoric gem, driven by an uplifting key riff throughout."

For Twice Infinity’s second solo release, the London and Geneva-based DJ and producer GFX – one of the most active newcomers of the past years – makes his vinyl debut with the aptly named Vibing The Groove EP. His three original tracks span a wide array of playful, groovy, punching and driving techno that perfectly showcase GFX’s musical vision for the near future and mark a preliminary goal in his search for a unique musical expression since his release debut in 2020.

The B-side accompanies two remixes by equally exciting members of the next generation of producers; while the approach by Ecuadorian techno activist Hioll is more to the point and made straight up for peak time sets, Manchester-based trance wunderkind Faster Horses explores his not so well know passion for funky and stepping contemporary techno.

#challengeaccepted: Alive is a project that aims at raising awareness to the increasing amount of violence that women+ face in different forms in their daily lives. In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.

100% of the collected funds will be donated to Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation.
