Berlin-based label BITE run by Phase Fatale has been turning heads ever since its inception five years ago. Now BITE has put out over 25 releases, platforming emerging talents and well-established artists alike, all united by an ambition to push the boundaries of techno.
BITE’s output touches upon a wide range of styles along the moodier fringes of electronic dance music: from sparse industrial techno to wave and synthpunk and to the label’s pioneering italo body music. Regal is back on his imprint Involve Records with a rework of a US-American electro classic from 2007, including a re-release of the original tune which first appeared on Chicago-based label Mathematics Recordings. 

Monsieur Black’s hit ‘No Love’ gets a driving Techno twist by Regal, accompanied by rolling percussions, a catchy melody and emphasizing the story of a broken, toxic love. The original mix by Monsieur Black is a ageless more stripped-down version with typical US-electro and mid 2000’s minimal elements, taking the listeners on an ethereal futuristic journey.
