Originally from Kochi prefecture, now residing in Tokyo. Masafumi Take started organizing his own nights in 2011 where he honed his dj skills. Playing anything from  classic to cutting- edge tracks, his smooth mixing brings a unique tension and intonation to the floor through individualistic loops. By gaining his reputation through his dj sets and an insatiable pursuit of the techno scene led him to play regularly in Osaka as well as various venues in mid and West Japan.

As an organizer he has brought over many prevalent modern techno artists such as Neel, Claudio PRC, Ness, Luigi Tozzi and Refracted, in order to evolve the techno scene in Japan. In 2014 he moved to Tokyo where he linked up with his main partner Kannabi to start the techno party Katharsis.

In recent years his music production skills have flourished, hence, set up the label Katharsis Recordings. The first release is sprit 12 from the Label founder Masafumi Take and Kannabi. Also include Iori and Takaaki Itoh remix. The second EP has released in June 2018. His track as featured in the mixmag UK magazine techno review. He is recognized as the next generation to take up the techno mantle in Japan.

Uncage, the label curated by Marco Faraone, proudly presents the six-track journey, “The Overtones EP”, a collaboration between Marco Faraone and Yoav Nizri, a rising talent marking his second release on UNCAGE. “The Overtones” blends rolling percussion, pulsating low-end, and layered melodies, creating a hypnotic and driving experience designed for late-night immersion. “Ralaoci” leans into intricate percussion and evolving synth textures, balancing tension and release with a sleek underground edge.

“Other Expression” carries a warm, groove-driven flow, weaving basslines and subtle melodic layers into a sophisticated club piece. On “Organized Cut”, the duo explores percussive and groove-heavy rhythms, adding crisp textures for refined dance floor energy.

“Torin” layers atmospheric elements and evolving synth work over rolling percussion, building hypnotic tension throughout. Closing the EP, “Enhances” delivers crisp percussion, airy pads, and understated melodic drive, perfect for immersive late-night moments.

Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone has carved out a reputation as one of techno’s most respected names, with performances at Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10 and releases across leading labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and Defected. His imprint UNCAGE has become a hub for forward-thinking sounds, with releases from Radio Slave, Mark Broom, Donato Dozzy, and new-wave talents like Anfisa Letyago.

Yoav Nizri, a promising newcomer, made his debut with his Elmot EP on UNCAGE and now takes a bold step forward with this second release alongside Marco. With raw energy and an ear for hypnotic textures, he continues to shape his identity as one of techno’s rising forces.

With “The Overtones EP,” Marco Faraone & Yoav Nizri deliver a cohesive and hypnotic statement, marking another confident step in both artists’ journeys and a powerful addition to the Uncage catalogue.

Ruben Ganev’s sound can be described as very energetic and dynamic but still hypnotic. As a producer and as a DJ, Ruben always tries to maintain a certain groove and atmosphere which brings the listener closer to a club experience and awakens strong desire for relentless dancing and getting lost in rhythm. He recorded a podcast for me, where he included some of his own productions and showcased once again excellent mixing skills and his ability to deliver a quality high intensity experience with a hint of wilderness and hypnosis in it.
