I like the intro, the singing is too... idk, i don't like it. You could add some FX to it, just that it doesn't sound like that there is something wrong with mic. Like from the ending, the ending voice sounds more like it. also, you could do a different styled song (without that saw). I'm giving 3/10.

This track is from 2016 when I was in the process of changing my alias. It’s one of the projects I lost when my computer broke last fall. I recently remembered that I had the MP3, and I decided that it was good enough to publish, but not worth remaking.

I might be willing to make a new version if someone gives me a really good reason to.

"As a little kid, I used to fantasize about finding out that my crush liked me. Field trips were chances for that to happen. For once, there wouldn't be three desks between us. I could even end up in a group with her! Needless to say, nothing exciting ever happened. I rarely had a chance to talk to my crush, and if I did, I never took it (cough thankfully cough). One time, we went to a park to eat lunch after visiting the planetarium. The sun's golden glow sharply illuminated the innumerable blades of grass in the field on which everyone talked and played with their small groups of friends.

When I was in middle school, I was still too shy to go on a date, but I was lucky enough to have a girlfriend. Field trips were opportunities for us to be together in the presence of our friends. Our friends were the catalyst necessary for our admittedly weak and unlikely bond to form. I remember the bus ride home from the waterpark we went to after 8th grade graduation. As we held hands, with her head on my shoulder, the strands of her hair glistened in the sunlight.

As a confident high school senior, actually hanging out with my second girlfriend, I no longer needed field trips. On my last field trip, I sat alone and rested throughout the early morning bus ride. It was foggy and the entire world was more golden than I had ever seen it. The dust on the windows, the texture of the seat, and the passing fields all basked in sunlight, reminding me of my past adventures and telling me how far I had come.

Here's my entry for Lane 8's remix competition! I absolutely love the Brightest Lights album, so when I saw that he was hosting a remix competition, I had to give it a try. At first, the result was a fragmented mess, but I kept working, and eventually everything fell into place. I even got a few of my mixing issues sorting out. The end result is a high-energy, dramatic progressive house tune that's closer to my ideal sound than anything I've ever made before.

I made the first version of this track in fall 2019. In fall 2020, I decided to remake it using some of the knowledge and resources I had gained over the past year. I didn't expect it to take over 100 hours to get it right (but still not really get it right). Anyways, here's Snake Charmer, my first original track to be released since July 2019. It's not perfect, but I feel confident saying it's my best work yet.
