Title track ‘Desolate Spaces’ leads the way with a huge rave-infected synth and an intense and overpowering drum track. The Purge leans more on distorted elements, using them to create dynamic movement throughout the track whilst remaining full of that typical Slam groove. Infiltration has clever, inventive FX use to create a warped environment as straight up percussive elements build the drive. Closing out the EP is The Rush a full on and explosive Techno tirade that hit full blast from the start and delivers consistent momentum

Canadian John Varuhin returns once more to his CLYDE Records imprint with more of his sublime minimal techno. 

‘Deliverance’ comes a year after the ‘Bunker’ EP on the newly formed CLYDE imprint that picked up support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Luke Slater, Danny Daze and finds the Vancouver based artist, John Varuhin in fine form. John is someone who likes to make field recordings, and in the studio has a groundbreaking sound that is clean and sharp in style with plenty of hi fidelity details to make it all the more evocative. 

Heady opener 'Denial' is a haunting deep techno roller. It is stripped right back to a taut rubber kick, then an eerie piano motif is left to roll up top in absorbing fashion. It might be sparse, but it sure is impactful. 

The excellent 'Wetware' is another vast and empty open space but for watery sounds, a grinning lead that sweeps across the track and pinging kicks that make you move. Atmospheric minimal doesn't come much better. 

The quality continues on "Accept Your Fate', a hard hitting but just as deep and tense techno cut that locks you into a real state of hypnosis and has deft synth hooks keeping you there for the elongated duration. 

It is 'Deliverance' that closes out with warm sub bass down low, barely-there drums driving you along and spooky vocals, drips and glitches detailing this most austere of grooves.

With release BR120 we again go back to Mexico, one of the main Techno countries in the world. This time we welcome "Dmash" again for his 2nd EP on our label. Like we know him, he again delivers us "no bullshit" Techno, straight in the face with huge synths, industrial sounds, heavy and deep kicks, agressive riffs, ...

Bio:
This Mexican DJ/Producer's work is composed of deep and hypnotic strong sounds, in addition to exhibiting different abstract colors. As a DJ, his sessions are deep and full of energy creating atmospheres that involve the public and transport them to another world. 

In 2009 he was invited to be part of the events "We Love Techno", considered as one of the best in Mexico City, as producer and promoter, playing at their parties and festivals with a unique style of Techno. It was in 2011 when his DJ sets were broadcasted on the radio station www.chorley.fm in Manchester (England) having a high impact with radio listeners.
