Hello world, this was a crazy week so my work definitely explored a bit deeper the emotions and general planetary vibe being presented at the moment. This week’s Friday Techno Drop is called “Systematic Dance” - an ethereal yet driving techno track built for deep introspection and full-body movement.
With a hard-hitting kick and a bouncy, deep bass lines, the foundation pulses beneath raw, sharp synths and hauntingly organic instrumental textures. Bells echo through the mix, adding a cold, metallic touch - like a winter night humming with electricity.

At times, the energy dips into a mellow, almost ghostly mood… but the drops break through with warmth: layered percussion, break beat grooves, and dynamic leads that push the track forward like a machine gaining speed.

This one to me feels like dancing in the snow under a dying satellite signal. I hope you enjoy the trip. ❄️🖤

Ømen is producer & DJ, co-founder of the London based techno night MASS. With a passion for techno depicting a raw, aggressive, and occasionally melodic/melancholic sound, his musical influences span across a range of different genres and cultures. Notably, he often incorporates rhythms, mystical prayers, and percussive elements emanating from Southeast Asia.

MASS Sessions #102 | Absntmnded

@hybral is a Berlin based trans DJ and producer starting to appear in the underground scene in the beginning of this year and is mixing and producing dark, hard, industrial, ebm and noisy driven techno. Their sound is characterised by intense evolving atmospheres, pushing percussion and bassline as well as heavy distorted kicks. Hybral always has a political approach, not only by the representation as a queer DJ and producer in the techno scene, but also in their track selection. They try to select and produce tracks that include political statements or theories.
Hybral is also the founder of @subvertedpodcast, a feminist podcast series that includes podcasts recorded by flint* DJs only playing tracks by flint* producers.

https://soundcloud.com/hybral is a non-binary Berlin-based dj and producer that started to appear in the Berlin underground scene in the beginning of last year. They are known for their dark driving and hard hitting rough industrial sounds as well as the intertwining of left politics and techno. Their sound is characterized by intense evolving atmospheres, pushing percussions and basslines as well as heavy distorted kicks, always dark and uncompromising. With tracks already released on pure Hate 000, Gegen Records, Sindex, normative and Heart´s Whispers, we are more than happy to welcome the Berlin producer on MASS. 

The mix features tracks from Exil der Schatten, NX1, Endlec, Killawatt, Swarm Intelligence, Lethal M, 2+2=5, ROT, Bermind, Neagles and more.

MASS Sessions #108 | Hybral

Vendex is a DJ and producer born in Barcelona. He began to mix at the age of 14 to 15 years and began to produce in 2016 various genres and subgenres of electronic music. He is now focused on techno, specifically in the Dark, Industrial, Acid and Hard Techno.
During the summers he grew up in Ibiza, since he has family on the island, thanks to this he had at his disposal many artists and genres with different influences.

Today he has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness. Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural, reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld. Generating sounds that guide the Dantesque idea of ​​a trip in the underworld with the aim of reaching paradise. All this through a forceful and enveloping sound, this creating a path to the nine levels of hell, purgatory and finally reaching paradise.

Influenced today in his sessions by artists such as @daxj, @parallx-bln, @ihatemodels, @scalameriya, @ancient-methods, @tommyfourseven, @setaoc_mass and many more.
