Just as this episode was about to be uploaded, along comes a Mark Knight remix of a never before released Whitney Houston track that holds everything up - but what a track it is!! As there wasn’t much uplifting vocal house this week, this episode has a heavy tech and bass house focus and, as these tracks are often shorter, the track listing is a bit longer than usual. Hola, if you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen i've been making a lot of more pumping stuff of late, heavily influenced by the late 90's/early 00's scouse house sound i grew up on, that is suddenly back in fashion again thanks to the likes of Patrick Topping, Hannah Laing and Ben Hemsley.

So here's the first of hopefuly many more pumping bits forthcoming from me, it's called The Rhythm, and you might just recognize the vocal sample hahaha.

On the A side, Keep Yourself Up', a track with a lot of groove and a catchy bass accompanied by an anthemic vocal, the perfect combination to activate the entire dance floor, with a very house sound, the boys step hard. On the B-side, 'Weird Sound', an incredible track, one of the best B-sides you can hear, the bass line is spectacular, it keeps you alive and crazy throughout the track, it just grabs you, it's so much fun!! The pads, vocal cuts and drums make a perfect combination of groove to complete this piece. excellent work! It is clear that you will want these tracks in your repertoire!!
