One of the first hardcore CDs I bought as a student was Mokum Records F**king Hardcore #5 (Japanese Edition). I was immediately fascinated by these tracks and immediately bought TECHNOHEAD / I Wanna Be A Hippy and TECHNOHEAD / HeadSex. In this moment, my life changed.

What a surprise! There are so many unique hardcore tracks. And a wide variety of genres on one album. I made up my mind that when I start my music career in the future, I will definitely call myself "TECHNO***". And now I'm working under the name DJ TECHNORCH.

As I followed TECHNOHEAD's entire career, I was greatly influenced by every element of TECHNOHEAD, not to mention the track production. I was impressed by all the symbols they showed in their artworks. For example ”Greater Than One / Trust, Index”, “G.T.O. / Listen To The Rhythm Flow”, “Church of Extacy / Technohead”. And now, my artist and label symbols are very consciously linear and sharp-edged. Also, the influence from album art is tremendous. I found myself creating artworks that was influenced by TECHNOHEAD / HeadSex almost all the time. Those are the composition, flash lighting, and the emphasis on primary colors. For example, my artworks of "TCNCD012/018/020/021". In other words, TECHNOHEAD is my role model in every respect.

So I never dreamed that my track would be included in the Mokum Records F**king Hardcore and officially release a remix of TECHNOHEAD's I Wanna Be A Hippy. TECHNOHEAD is my aspiration, and more than a dream for me. I had a very moving experience this time. Nobody knows what will happen to our life. And Michael Wells, a.k.a. TECHNOHEAD, who is still actively releasing music, continues to be an inspiration to me.
