Released on 24th February, ‘Core Values Vol. 2’ features 15 never-before-heard hard techno cuts from some of the genre’s most exciting prospects alongside the Crisis of Man label boss himself…

After a massive year for the rapidly growing California label, Crisis Of Man kicks off 2023 with the second instalment of its annual Core Values VA. Once again, the compilation brings a swath of the hottest new talent on the planet, each artist bringing their unique brand to the label. Whereas the previous instalment had ten artists, Vol. 2 brings the total to 13. 

Since the previous release, the North American scene has grown tremendously, which this new release proudly presents to the world. While 13 of the 15 artists might be from NA, 2022 saw the label expand beyond the shores to Italy and The Netherlands. 

Los Angeles-based artists make a strong showing on the VA. 1morning kicks things off with the 90s-inspired 'Fuse'. Annika Wolfe returns to the label ahead of their future release with industrial leaning 'Industry Plants'. Former master photographer Dilate comes in hot with the snappy 'Outsider'. COM favourite EAS returns with his typical driving and punchy 'Braindance'. VA mastering engineer and highly respected artist Secus adds the marching and hypnotic 'Shadow Realm', while fellow LA legend Steven Disario makes his debut with the stripped-back 'Moving Heads'. Hardcore duo RS:VC return with their first original track, the melancholic and devastating 'What I Saw When I Looked In The Mirror'. Brand new artist and mentored by Selective, Xiomar presents his very first release with club-focused 'Track 2'. And of course, label head Selective Response rounds off the local roster with the catchy 'Come Hell or High Water'. 

Moving east, New York's Brälle comes in hot with their psychedelic hammer 'East Hastings'. Texas Voidware boss Declan James' 'First Blood' is an industrial roller. KNTXT artist Henry Brooks brings melodic elements to the release with 'Lost Premonitions'. Closing out the North American representation is new artist Jana Greenstone, whose broken beat 'Mine' is a journey all on its own. And finally, we head across the pond to Italy with LPV's EBM-inspired Sexual Tension. Closing out the release is Overclocked, a long-time favourite of Selective Response, who ends things with the pumping 'Open Your Eyes'.

All profits of this release will be donated to Mickey's Niece 'Sophia' who recently just turned one. Who since 4 months old has been battling ATRT Brain Cancer. The family and parents of Sophia were forced to leave their jobs and full time care for Sophia as she undertook months of chemo treatment and several scans and testing.

WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM [DEES-WLF] is a special charity project curated by Deestricted & Aida Arko, including many Iranian artists, that will be released on the International Women's Day, the 8th of March. It has been created to collect money for WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM ( www.womanlifefreedom.today) and most importantly to shed light on the current situation of Iran and raise awareness & support the Women in Iran from our scene!

“Woman, Life, Freedom” is a popular political Kurdish slogan and an association that supports global actions in solidarity with Iranian women & girls who are courageously and peacefully demonstrating for their fundamental human rights.

The use of the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" in Iran goes back to the series of protests following the death of Mahsa Amini. The slogan was first chanted at her funeral in Saqqez and then was heard in the initial protests in Sanandaj.

Iran is facing the first ever women revolution in its history, started by the death of Mahsa Amini on September 16th 2022. Ever since then people in Iran have shown tremendous acts of bravery risking their lives on the streets, fighting their violent dictator regime, seeking basic human rights and freedom.

By now the regime has responded to the protesters with pure cruelty. Thousands have been arrested or killed, disappeared having critical medical conditions, brutally tortured in jails and sentenced to the death penalty without any court cases or support from the international organizations!

A nation of 8 million citizens & over 4000 years of history needs our international support right now.

This is the goal of this special release that would be supported from a charity event will happen in Berlin 7th of March at ://about blank with help of amazing local and a massive representation of Iranian all FLINTA djs.

All profits will be donated to the organization helping women in Iran with the ongoing revolution.
