2019, a year Selective Response first released music to the world in the form of singles ‘Scorched Earth Policy’ and ‘Weekend At Nik's’ - they provided a clear indication that the California Native was not messing around, with his powerful, industrial, raw productions.
Crisis of Man has quietly gathered pace these past few years reaching a critical mass as the go to for everyone from Truncate to Perc via I Hate Models. Heading the imprint, Selective Response has taken pains to set trends rather than follow them, building a loyal fan base around his uncompromising industrial sound.
Early support from Cleric, Dax J and Perc, encouraged the launch of his own label Crisis Of Man, a platform which since has mainly been the home for his own creations, it now kicks off 2022 with a stellar 10 track VA, to mark their 10th release.

WarinD's ‘Choose You’ EP offers up three steel-plated techno cuts for NowNow with label head Lee Ann Roberts adding a vital remix.
Italian Giuseppe De Chiara's WarinD moniker is influenced by styles such as hardgroove, acid and distorted techno. He has his own self-titled record label and says he "expresses his own inner war through music". He has been turning out visceral tracks for the last six years on labels like Omen and Tripalium and now blows the dance floor apart with this new EP.
The brilliantly muscular 'Choose You' kicks off with unrelenting drums and hard kicks. It has frosty synths layered up with a loopy spoken word vocal that gets your head in a spin as the drums march on
in heavy fashion. 'From Zero To Hero' brings old-school scratching and spinbacks before exploding into a trance-techno groove. It fizzes with retro rave energy as hard drums and bright synth loops keep up
the intensity. 'Moon 22' is another turbocharged techno track with video-game-style sound effects andwarped synths bringing the interplanetary madness.
Lee-Ann Roberts quickly follows up a remix of OGUZ in August with another one on her now well established label. Her take on 'Moon 22' is another track that places her at the heart of the hard techno revolution with its slamming drums, metallic percussion and monstrous bass all making for a wall of impenetrable sound. Hard techno doesn't get better than this EP from WarinD.

A year ago our label was born, almost for joke, almost for for fun, and we would never expect to receive the incredible support we are receiving from all of you

In all these months we have worked very hard to try to do our best, pushing ourselves more and more, trying to learn from our mistakes, and always looking forward to the future without ever looking back.
We have grown a lot compared to a year ago, and a lot of things are chenged from the beginning. 

We are truly grateful we were lucky enough to release  many of the best artists in the current scene, who have delighted us with phenomenal tracks that will forever mark our label.

We wanted to say thank you to all of them, all the artists who have collaborated with us, who with their hard work made all this possible, and then we especially wanted to thank of course all of our supporters, who from behind the scenes are the ones who do the most important job, because without the support of the people and the crowd, no artist and no label would be anyone

It has been a really tough year for all of us involved in the music industry, and art in general, but despite everything that has happened in the world, and everything that is happening we will never give up, and keep working hard, better times will come soon
