Justin K. Broadrick’s output is an intimidating one. He began, aged 15, with the recording of his first—and last—record with Napalm Death. From there he formed pioneering industrial metal group Godflesh. He also met Kevin Martin, AKA The Bug, and began experimenting with everything from dub and techno to hip-hop, breakbeat as Techno Animal. Together they produced four albums, plus a collaboration with Porter Ricks.

JK Flesh debuted in 2012 with the album ‘Posthuman’ on 3BY3, but it’s lineage can be traced right back to Kevin “K-Mart” Martin and the pair’s psychedelic industrial techno project, The Sidewinder, which was picked up by Mille Plateaux in 1996. The studio pet-name would later become his alter-ego.

There’s been the stinging ‘Worship Is The Cleansing Of The Imagination’ since, a split with Prurient, and this year’s ‘Suicide Estate’ EP on Hospital Productions. Electric Deluxe had the honour of bringing the next JK Flesh album kicking and screaming into the world - "Rise Above" was released in June 2016, and displayed an move towards a new form of sludge industrial techno. Legendary techno label Downwards, put out the ‘Nothing Is Free’ 12" single next, complete with Surgeon remix. Forthcoming releases on Hospital Productions, Downwards and Inner Surface, besides others, are next to come in 2017.

A promoter of the underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer - Serbian-born Lag is the on the forefront of the new wave of techno artists. 


It is easy to notice from his sound that he did not take the usual route on his musical journey. He grew up on punk, acquired a classical education in music and then quit it all to find himself enchanted by the possibilities of expressing oneself both through DJing and making electronic music. He chose techno to be the host for his creative discharge, while always incorporating a certain dosage of his previous musical life to his current work. Grit, rhythm and attitude are his main tools as he blends them into his music, creating a potent combination which enchants, moves and unifies. 


Lag's DJ performances on the Exit festival's main DJ stage, and the legendary Tresor club speak volumes of his ability to engage his crowd, and offer an intense sonic experience. Through his DJ sets, as well as through workshops and events he organized and promoted under the umbrella of his organization 29524, Lag put efforts into closing the gap between the "good" and the "known". Since then his promotional activities have reduced, and his focus moved to delivering extremely functional DJ sets, but also on creating and releasing original music, mostly in the techno genre. After several appearances and releases, predominantly on the Serbian label Teskoba, his remix of Grovskopa's "Atopic" is released on vinyl by Sect Records. He follows it up with his first EP named "Stutter", a highly acclaimed release which came out on the notoriously uncompromising Singularity Recordings, and his following outputs on MORD Records and THEM, as well as the numerous remixes he has behind him, underline the quality and uniqueness of his already recognizable sound.


Lag is set to stay on his current path as his mission, his initial vision, is yet to flicker. His ruthless determination is awe inspiring, and is, along with his musical prowess, the main reason for his rising popularity. Lag is definitely someone to keep an eye on, but more importantly - someone to listen to. After all, as he frequently states, "it's all about the music".

Born in Vitoria, Spain, Kike Pravda's interest for music comes since he was a child. His parents worked in a music store, so he always had near as all kind of instruments as analog machines.
 
Kike gets its first residence as dj, particularly in the old Club Pravda of his hometown. His good work behind the mixer attracted people from other cities, thanks to his exquisite selection of music, including music imported from USA, England or Germany, converting club Pravda in a reference at the time. Kike recognizes the influence from artists such as Basic Channel, Robert Hood, Joan Atkins, The Advent or Plastikman, and labels like Sinewave, Downwards, Axis, Counter Balance, Dynamic Tension or Tresor.

Thereafter, began a growing career that has led him to perform at venues and festivals as important as :

Kike soon started into production.

From then until 2007, many collaborations on labels like Labrynth, M_Rec, Injected Poison, Digital Reflection or especially Psychoskunk, with whom he worked closely on many references on vinyl and digital format.

But it was not until 2009 when he saw one of his dreams fulfilled as a producer, published in the Warm Up Recordings label, which released "Fear is the Enemy", which accompanied a work of Oscar Mulero remix.

However, 2012 is the year when Kike Pravda gives the final step. First, with a new release on Warm Up, "Queen of the damned" composed of two tracks and, again, a remix by Oscar Mulero. And then, with the creation of his own label, Senoid Recordings, for whose first reference was supported with a remix by Ben Sims and which already has played by hand of reel known artists like Chris Liebing, DVS1, Truncate, Exium, Oscar Mulero, or Marcel Flenger.

But both, Senoid Recordings as Kike don't stop there, and have confirmed their next big collaborations for future releases.

Children of Tomorrow ,Faut Section,Dust Recs, Injected Poison labels are the last works signed by Kike in 2016 being one of the 100 most charted artists in Resident Advisor .

2017 has been no less important for Senoid, sounding by Blawan Senoid 004 in Awakenings, and by artists such as Oscar Mulero, Samuli Kemppi, Shlomo, Shdw & Obscure Shape....

Shifted also played the record including it in the DJMAG.COM podcast, and Pan-Pot included it as one of the best tracks of December in 9 Essentials Beatport's chart.

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Unjin's international debut came with Miami WMC 2010 as Korea’s best electronic musician. Since then Unjin is fast becoming known in Asian techno circles as one of top
producers and DJs to watch. Unjin is the founder of Korea’s first techno label 'ECI Korea' , a platform to expose emerging domestic and international talents to the world stage. As composer and producer, Unjin has played a key role in laying the foundation for a Korean techno culture.
In 2010, as a part of the duo East Collective, the first techno album 'Spiral Sequence' was released, receiving international recognition for the successful remixes of works for Ryogo Yamamori and DJ Sodeyama with Drumcell, Mr. Jones, Jonas Kopp, Tony Rohr & Layton Giodani, and inspiring many young Korean artists.
Under the ECI Korea label, Unjin's first concept album 'Kids In Seoul' came to life with support from DJs 2000 and One, Abstract Division, Efdemin, Etapp Kyle, Troy Pierce. 'Kids In Seoul' explores techno culture and night life in Korea and beyond.
Released in 2016, 'Fog Machine Remix EP' with Ness, Dorian Gray, Miller & Keane and Unjin himself, gained huge international success and support from global techno communities.
While holding residency at Vurt Club in Seoul, Unjin tours internationally. Host venues have included Tresor
Berlin, London's Ministry of Sound, Zouk in Singapore, Tokyo's Womb and Air, the Sullivan Room in New York City, Spybar in Chicago, ℅ Pop in Germany, Ultra Japan, Midi festival, Shelter, Beijing's Lantern and Sonar Korea.
Unjin's reputation for pushing musical boundaries began back in the mid 90’s as one of Korea's first underground indie musicians in Seoul's relatively young underground music scene, grew through his imaginative live ambient solo project Rainjacket, and continues to develop in exciting new directions as an independent producer and DJ on the international stage.

Volpe is a young artist from Argentina inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, moving between genres such as Detroit Techno, Dub Techno and Power House.
His career began at the early age of 16, in the national underground scene, which would later lead him to play in renowned venues like Under Club, Cocoliche and Bahrein, sharing gigs with Tadeo, Jonas Kopp, Seph, Andres Zacco, Julixo/AWDHA, Dying & Barakat, Vladw and many others.
He managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as Subsist, Fabrik Music, Concepto Hipnotico, Utopica Vision, Detox Electronics, Classic Airlines and Sub:Circles.
Now he is focused on his live presentations, in which he opted for the hardware format, providing an organic and powerfull sound to his performance.

madwoman is a Berlin based Stockholm born techno DJ, active since 2011 when she started playing in Lund, Sweden. Her style is seen as obscure and influenced by her background as organist and piano player in the classical field.
Informed by many different disciplines and genres, madwoman is armed with a track selection of hypnotic and high energy 132-145 bmp industrial sounds, inviting her audience to enter their rawest mode on the dance floor. Initial Code, active member of the Belgian techno scene and audio engineer at the mythical Fuse club, offers, with his musical project, an hybrid universe that stands out in a world of uniform four the floor techno. Melding ambient, complexe atmospheres, intricate rhythms and modular synths sounds. Each of his dj sets represent a carefully narrated story of emotions based on an unique code, inspired of the dna. 

Initial Code is also the founder of InDepth, the only one Belgian magazine dedicated to hypnotic techno. This online magazine and collective aim to contribute positively to the underground scene by supporting local artists and raising the visibility of artists, collectives, labels and events.
