Lautlose Liebe..

Liebe braucht oft weder Worte, noch Erklärungen oder Beweise. Wahre Liebe ist leise, fast lautlos, denn Blicke, Wärme und Gefühle machen keine Geräusche. Liebe ist das, was am Anfang ein lautes, buntes Feuerwerk war, das wir am liebsten der ganzen Welt mittgeteilt hätten. Sie wird zu dem, was nur diese zwei Menschen angeht, was man wie ein Geheimnis im Herzen trägt, weil es viel zu kostbar ist, um es achtlos hinauszuposaunen. 

Wenn es Zeiten gibt, die dich so in die Knie zwingen, dass du denkst, du stehst nicht mehr auf, ist die Liebe das, was dich wieder hochzieht, ein kleines Licht in der Krise, ein Augenblick ohne Spielchen. Lautlos ist sie, denn nur dann spürt man die Ehrlichkeit in ihr. Sie ist da, wenn man sie braucht, sie versteht und lässt Zeit. Lautlos bedeutet ohne Geräusche, ohne Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen, denn sie hat es nicht mehr nötig, um Anerkennung und Beifall zu bitten. Eine unendliche, lautlose Liebe ist ein Geschenk zwischen zwei Menschen, in dem das Feuerwerk im Herzen hochgeht.

These sets at the Nutz camp have grown organically in the 5 years I have been doing them for, and have been the catalyst for a sea of change in my own personal musical appreciation. They've shown and encouraged me to dig deep into electronic music, looking for a spiritual dimension ... they have stretched me mentally and physically, and in doing so I see myself leaving my past behind in all it's forms.

They have also encouraged and enthused me to produce music under my real name (Simon Shackleton), to launch the Stereophoenix label which is now my primary recording outlet, and to launch and develop The One Series, a vehicle for further long sets such as these.

Burning Man is pure, raw, inspiration. Each year is very different and you get the Burn you need rather than the Burn you want. This year was my personal favourite of the 6 I've been to ... it was beautiful, intimate, inspiring, passionate, flawless ... and as my heart & soul moves further away from the EDM-heavy festival stages of the night time, I feel more engaged than ever before with this music, and more importantly this incredible sense of community that Burning Man engenders.

Everything we knew about live House & Techno was completely blown away during this set as Rodriguez Jr. gave us the performance of a life time. Described by him as "One of the best parties he's ever played", the vibe was on another level, the music was through the roof, and his performance had everyone in a musical frenzy. We all had a feeling that Rodriguez Jr. was going to be the highlight of our Desert Hearts Spring Festival, but we had no idea that he was about to set the bar for every DJ & Performer at our festival moving forward. Nach einigen Jahren stellen wir fest, dass Vieles eine Verkettung von Ereignissen ist und sich am Ende fügt wie ein Mosaik. We’re continuing our British Airways special in collaboration with Deeper Sounds and are happy to welcome the next gifted storyteller to the Schirmchendrink team:

Milo Häfliger, Swiss, originally from Solothurn, a small town located in the north-western part of Switzerland on the foot of the Jura mountains, is known for his sophisticated selections. 

Not in his wildest dreams Milo imagined he’ll be travelling the world to play dj sets when he recorded his first ever mix. But, since it is that easy to fall for his mixes and to connect with the emotions transported through them, his success does not come as a surprise! 

Today, Milo is a goosebumps guarantee in the ethnic and melodic electronica scene. He hosts his own event series Marché des Miracles in Zurich, Switzerland’s electronic music hot spot, is resident of the Heal Play Love collective and plays at the most renowned venues and events such as the Swiss premiere of The Gardens of Babylon in Basel next month – just to mention a few of his current engagements.

And, I’m sure that everyone who met him in person will agree: Milo is just a completely down-to-earth and incredibly likeable human being! 
Thanks, Milo, for taking the time to mix this phenomenal contribution to the Schirmchendrink menu, it’s a pleasure featuring a true Swiss gem on the channel.
