Inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, @gaston-volpe's versatile sets blend genres such as Dub, Detroit and Hypnotic Techno, which combined with his fast tempo and continuous groove, create a perfect atmosphere on the dance floor.

He has been at the forefront of the underground electronic scene in Buenos Aires, being a resident in several parties for many years, which have lead to him being showcased at the best Techno clubs of the country.

He’s managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as @uncageofficial, @subsist and @sungate-records. Due to his continuous efforts, he has been supported by artists such as Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Jeroen Search, DJ Bone, Kaiser, Vil, Alexander Kowalski, Subradeon, Tripeo and many others. 

He is now focused on his new vinyl releases on labels like @frenzynl, OHM and Mitsubasa, all whilst still doing podcasts for great channels.

His drive towards obliterating boundaries and developing new forms and structures in sound is not only a way for him to express his creativity but also encourages and facilitates a natural evolution artistically. Staffan can conjure inspiration from, what seems to be anything that is constructed with the creative minds of other people. Together with his brother Mathias, he runs the record label Searchlights Records. A label dedicated to the exploration and understanding of how we observe occurring events. How we remember them, the movements they spark, how we communicate these findings and ultimately how they may change us and become part of our being.

▸ When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it. This is the case of Hugo Rolan, from Asturias, north of Spain, who has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his adolescence, and now in his maturity, he masters the language to perfection.

Being primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar of the scene, working in conventional day job. In his spare time, he learned production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, and training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to public his work.

The wait worth it, in 2022 his first work was published on one of the most recognized ceiling labels, Warm Up, managed by Oscar Mulero, a interesting debut album, full of techno.

His second reference is released on one of the most important labels worldwide, Axis Records, owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where his sound is heading.

Facilitating him works on Incense, Legend 1997, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet, Semantica, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms, Edit Select, Fenómenos, West Rules, KeyHole, Voyager and Loopaina Records.

Detrás de Bluenose esta José Manuel,  conocido en los medios y redes sociales como José Molas Mazo, en su labor como administrador del grupo de facebook "Techno puritano", grupo creado hace 3 años y con más de 8.000 miembros en la actualidad, dedicado a la difusión y promoción de temas, sets, podcast, eventos, colectivos, noticias, ect… relacionadas con la vertiente del techno original.

Criado en Burgos, y residente en Barcelona, se considera así mismo como un verdadero adicto al techno y de la escena electrónica desde el año 1997, consumidor enfermizo de cualquier tipo de música electrónica. A partir de 2000, se centra en el techno, influenciado por las nuevas referencias llegadas desde Brimingham, de Berlín, centro de Europa y sobre todo el tremendo auge de este género en España.  
La vivencia de cerca de la explosión de la escena techno de diferentes lugares, regiones o ciudades de nuestro país como Barcelona, País vasco, Asturias, Madrid, Valladolid... le han servido para curtirse e impregnarse de la verdadera esencia del techno más underground. 
La llegada de las nuevas tecnologías y la necesidad de expresar su forma de entender el techno, hicieron que desde hace unos años surgiera la figura de Bluenose.  A pesar de no considerarse dj,  bajo este aka ha realizado varios podcasts y sets domésticos, donde intenta sobre todo desarrollar sets cuya evolución intente, como él dice, “contar una historia”. Actualmente emite un set semanal, todos los miércoles de 23 a 00 h en Mallorca Underground Radio.

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
