This week we are happy to present to you Duplicity Podcast Episode 012, featuring @alexskyspirit. 

DJ, producer, co-owner, co-Founder and resident at the Cube Official Patras, Alexskyspirit was born in Patras (Greece) and has always loved electronic music. From a very young age he was fond of 90’s chicago house and vocal house, while at the age of 16 he fell in love with underground techno. His biggest musical influences are Pig & Dan, Reset Robot, Dubspeeka, Etapp Kyle and many more.

He started performing as a DJ back in 2002 at local bars and clubs in Patras, as well as in several radio stations around Greece. Up until last October he was running his weekly radioshow named Electronique Destination which finished on 150 episodes with guest-mixes from the finest names in the electronic scene.

He has performed in almost every venue in Patras and and at the almighty Athens clubs, Maze and Terazza. Apart from DJ'ing he is also the co-owner and co-founder of Cube Patras, which is a mobile event taking place once in two months in Patras Greece.

He has performed along with artists like Matt Sassari, Charlotte De Witte, Jewel Kid, Harvey Mckay, Alberto Ruiz, Oxia, Neverdogs, Spiros Kaloumenos, Anna V, Keith Carnal, Robert Dietz, Artslaves, Reelow, George Apergis and many more. In 2017 he decided to express his love for electronic music by starting his career as a producer with full of upcoming music.

Alderaan is the pseudonym of Franco De Michele, a music producer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the year 2014, he began his carreer as producer by releasing music in the recognized dutch label Planet Rhythm. This gave him the support of great artists from all over the world, helping him to follow his carreer and releasing music in psysical format this time, in the english label Weekend Circuit. 
His discography extends to labels such as Mindtrip Music, Warm Up Recordings, Insula Records, Pole Group, among others. This has opened the doors to him to be an active part of the national scene in Argentina, playing in clubs like Cocoliche, Under Club or Bahrein, and also being a resident of the Deviant party. In the year 2017 he made his first tour in Europe where he performed at clubs such as Arena Club (Berlin), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Moog (Barcelona) or 1988 Live Club (Rennes). At the end of 2017, he is recognized and nominated by DJ MAG LA as a rising producer of the Latin American scene. In the year 2018 his career as a DJ grows significantly, having several presentations in Argentina and Chile, and then taking him to his second tour of Europe. This time he presents at Tresor (Berlin), Cassette (Madrid), Audio Club (Geneva) and Laut (Barcelona). At the end of the year he created Danza Nativa, a label of ambient and techno music, together with two colleagues from Buenos Aires (Forest On Stasys and Kyntral) with a defined sound and oriented towards deep techno.

This week we'd like to welcome Raroh, a great Polish DJ and producer, from Warsaw.
Immersive & trippy atmospheres and smooth transitions are to be expected from this mix, which slowly builds towards intense landscapes.
He is a musician focused on trancey, ambient and intensive side of techno. He played his live shows sharing a stage with producers and DJs like Blazej Malinowski, Milena Glowacka, Birds Ov Paradise, Retina.it or Vril.

A few words he told us:
"So I have always been in touch with my music, since my childhood, so the need of making music came kind of naturally for me. I don't have any goals in it, I just make music, because it's what I love. Of course I really like playing my music in clubs, especially when I feel the energy from the dancing crowd, but I guess, the most important thing for me is to make music, to produce and to be in touch with sound. So I don't give a lot of thought in that process, it's more like a need or feeling to search and find the one, the best configuration of sound in one particular moment."

João Relvas has been in this universe since 2010. After moving to Lisbon his relationship with electronic music started to grow and aroused the desire to move to the dj booth.
In 2012 he made his debut as a DJ and in 2013, after an Elements invitation (a production company in Coimbra)  started to represent them. Later, in 2015, he ventured with his first producer project - Music Chemistry - and brought international artists to Coimbra, such as, BLNDR, Antigone, Dimi Angelis, Adriana Lopez, among others ... Was also partner with two producers of Lisboa - Contakt and Name - where he produced events with Joel Mull, SNTS, Par Grindvik, Pfirter, Cleric, The Advent, among others.
3 years ago started in Lisbon an event producer of events and podcasts - Vale Paraíso - debuting in 2018 and inviting Ray Kajioka.

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
