A dark, almost ambient track.

I wanted sort of this smooth, dark, slow, machine-y feel, and juxtapose that with some science-y sounding patterns in the middle.

This track was very much inspired by Jesper Kyd's wonderful soundtrack for the Sega Genesis game, The Adventures of Batman and Robin, developed by Clockwork Tortoise.

I recently picked up a copy of FL Studio, so I'm using this little thing I put together last night and have been tweaking a bit today as a demo.

It's not the style I usually write in, but it's a good start for messing with FL.

I was testing out WIVI synthesized brass and woodwinds, so I wrote this chant and accompaniment.  Originally, I used a different chant, but then I realized that it perfectly matched the text to the poem, O Fortuna, and kinda had that Orffian sound to it anyway :P.

A chiptune composed with an emulated YM2612 sound chip.
(I cheated a bit, as there's a seventh channel, but if this were on the Sega Genesis, I'd probably just use the PSG for the bass.)

This test was recorded from the Fusion364 emulator for Sega Genesis.

This really needs better instruments and moar stuff imho.

UPDATE: V2 of the track! I've fixed some wimpy brass chords to make them better from the original and also added in some intros.

This is a little song I wrote up in the spirit of the Sonic The Hedgehog games.

This is the first real time I've messed around with the PSG chip on any of my Sega Genesis VGM tracks, so I'm a bit nervous.

This track is also still a WIP but getting steadily better! (still might need more parts, though :P)
