Plaisirs Sonores Records is thrilled to announce the release of the 'Dual EP' by dynamic producer, Kabi (AR).

Continuing our mission to deliver captivating soundscapes that push the boundaries of electronic music, this new release will be available on all major platforms from July 28th, 2023.

Kabi, known for his evocative soundscapes, returns with a two-track progressive house masterpiece. With previous signings on renowned labels like Replug and The Soundgarden, Kabi (AR) is no stranger to crafting tunes that echo within the soul and leave listeners yearning for more.

The 'Dual EP' aptly commences with the title track 'Dual,' a rolling progressive house number imbued with resonant synth work and infectious melodies. The tune, like its name suggests, plays on the duality of music - its capacity to energize and soothe, making it a versatile addition to any DJ's set.

Meanwhile, the second track, 'Spicy,' offers a darker, more intense experience. This peak time banger, loaded with hypnotic repetitive synths, is tailored for the throbbing pulse of the dancefloor. Its compelling rhythm and tantalizing progression are guaranteed to immerse listeners in an exhilarating sonic journey.

Label founders Hicky and Kalo are already advocates for this release. They shared their experience, stating: "We've played these tracks a few times at Stereo Montreal and New York with great success. They always work so well in a club setting. The reception has been fantastic, and we can't wait for the audience at large to experience these tunes."

'Dual EP' is a compelling testament to Kabi's musical prowess and a proud addition to Plaisirs Sonores Records' growing catalogue. Clubsonica Records opens the spring season with a collaborative single from Golan Zocher and Juan Pablo Torrez. Born in Colombia but now calling Israel home, Golan Zocher has firmly etched his place in progressive house lore. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre's elite, earning play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Releases via Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Plattenbank and Proton highlight what has been an eight-year creative swell for this elusive talent. Clubsonica has also been a regular landing spot for Golan, with four originals and two remixes recorded since making his label debut in 2017. Meanwhile, Colombian artist and Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez has also compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2007. Mango Alley, Plattenbank, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombia's premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Matador, and more. Although both Golan and Juan have built a good portion of their discographies on successful collaborations, the duo have yet to work together. It seems only appropriate that Clubsonica be the home for the duo's first ever joint production entitled 'Cosmic Resonance', alongside a remix from Mike Griego.

Golan and Juan explore emotive progressive house sensibilities on their first joint production 'Cosmic Resonance'. Sleek and energetic throughout, it's a framework of punchy kick drums and undulating basslines which lay the foundation for rolling percussion and emerging atmospheres to unite, in turn creating a strong sense of flow. Hypnotizing arps and tension-inducing overlays take centrestage across the first act, with haunting atmospheres fully initializing the main break. Cosmic and emotive in equal measure, the interlude further solidifies the duo's dancefloor vision, melting down to a quiet calm where ghostly vocals and cinematic swells cleverly-coax, before the groove re-engages for a poignant finale of heartfelt chord changes and a haze of processed vocals.

About :
After releasing his last EP on Sapiens as part of Agoria's successful REGENERATION DAY in May 2020, Mooglie is now back with another stunning four-tracker entitled 'Aaliyah'. That last effort, The 'Prelude' EP, amassed more than a million streams on Spotify and was even supported by Austin Kramer who pitched him as the cover of the 'Friday Cratediggers' playlist.

Mooglie is a Parisian electronic music composer who draws on jazz, pop-rock, new wave and Italo disco. He is a formally trained guitarist and bassist with a real musical diversity. He manages to combine the organic with the synthetic in hugely emotional ways and does that once again here.

Opener 'Aaliyah' is a scintillating track with melodies that soar to the heavens while sleek drums make for a slick groove down low. It's an all consuming track that sweeps you off your feet and 'Illusion Of Us' then offers a more stripped back but just as emotional resonant vibe. The bass strokes are broad and melancholic, and the pained vocals up top have a nagging sense of loss that really stays with you.

'We All Out' is another stunning track that brings more crystal clear vocals to a taught electronic beat that is awash with deft synths and glowing pads. It's music that really brims with style and last cut 'Aludra' showcases another style, this time with sombre bass and more subtle synths making for an intimate and pensive mood.
