Making his debut on Sudbeat is the gifted Federico Fioretti with two mid set chuggers with a summery mood.

Born and raised in Turin, Italy Federico began his musical journey with influential bands such as Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode and disco icon Giorgio Moroder. Breaking onto the scene in 2016 with the muscular 'Anchor' on Glasgow Underground, he has quickly found high profile fans in Harry Romero, Christoph, OC & Verde and more. Now signed to Toolroom, Rumors and This & That (amoung others of note), Federico is experimenting with a newer hybrid sound that marries ethnic flavours with the melodics of House. 

Suitably, the lead track 'Genesis' is the perfect audio introduction to Fioretti's sound. Tough and hypnotic, the track ebbs and flows as all good dance floor groovers do. Vocal ad libs punctuate the strong melodic motifs adding soul to the powerful and bewitching energy. Next up, 'Panta Rhei', an ancient Greek philosophy term meaning 'everything flows'. Opening with a tough but sparse low end grunt, the track develops warm deep house melodics for those sunrise sets we all love to stay up late for.

HMWL Premiere: Matthew Sona - All That Is (Original Mix) [Zenebona Records]

Juicebox Music's 77th release sees Maze 28 making his return to the label with his latest single - "Cry of the Deserts". The Albanian rising star first made his debut on Juicebox Music through "Abyss Rhythm", his contribution to the 2nd edition of our 'Fables' compilation. Better known to his friends and family as Mario Zefi, Maze 28 has been on a hot-streak with chart-topping releases on Mango's 'Mango Alley' & Paul Thomas' 'UV', as well as winning Breeder's "Tyrantanic" remix competition, alongside Freedo Mosho, on the seminal Hooj Choons. We're excited to present his latest offering "Cry of the Deserts", an Arabian-inspired track with his signature chunky bassline, driving groove & ethnic hooks.

We called upon one of our core artists for the first remix. Enter Aman Anand, the Indian artist based in Singapore, who's made 5 appearances on our imprint since 2016, including a collaboration with label-boss Praveen Achary with "Fiasco". Aman Anand's influences range across the board from Electronica to Progressive House to Deep Techno, culminating in a unique sound that truly reflects his vision, earning him releases on Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat', Frankie Vertigo's 'My Secret Agenda', Bondarev's 'WARPP' & many more. His remix of Maze 28's "Cry of the Deserts" flips the mood on it's head and heads towards the darker & hypnotic side.

The final remix comes from a collaboration between two label debutants - Molac & Nicolas Viana. The Ecuador-based artist Alan Gonzalez (aka Molac) & Argentinian-based artist Nicolas Viana, both a part of the Sendas Music Collective recently started working together. Individually, they've both seen incredible success whether it's Molac's music on Lee Burridge's 'All Day I Dream' or Nicolas Viana's music on Gorje Hewek's 'Peace Symphonies' or both on MODD's 'Amulanga' & MOS's 'Melody of the Soul'. Their organic-infused and progressive-inspired styles perfectly merged into one, as showcased via their remix of Maze 28's "Cry of the Deserts".

Premiere: John Cosani - Only One [Hoomidaas]

This mashup fuses two of my favorite musical worlds: the melodic progressive house of Guy J and the explosive dubstep of Skrillex. I took the deep and emotive atmosphere of Guy J's "Illusion" as a base and integrated the vocals from Skrillex's "Stranger" as a decorative element.

This mashup is an exploration of the sonic possibilities that arise when combining two seemingly disparate styles. The idea is to generate a listening experience that transports the listener through different emotional states, from introspection and melancholy to euphoria and liberation.

His career has covered diverse areas including: record production for international stars such as Anu Malik, Sir Cliff Richard, Sheila Walsh (nominated for a Grammy Award in 1983); musical arrangements for Massive Attack, Def Leppard, Bond; feature film soundtrack music (Pride & Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham, It's a Wonderful Afterlife,); world music producing, performing (sitar, keyboards and African percussion) and arranging for international acts such as Massive Attack, Katie Melua, Manic Street Preachers and Def Leppard; television music ("Peak Practice", Sue Lawley Show) and also arranging, sitar and sound design work (for such well known composers as Danny Elfman, Gabriel Yared, Patrick Doyle, Carl Davis, John Altman); television and film advertising/corporate music (over 300 commercials to date); lecturing and teaching; concert performing (solo and with his own ensembles but also with Mike Oldfield for the world premiere of "Tubular Bells II", September 1992, at the Edinburgh Castle); sound engineering, synthesizer and computer music programming, sound design and music technology innovations.

The track itself 'Lalitha Ashtotram' remixed by Audio Junkies & Sahar Z, is a mantra, oozing of class, while it sophisticatedly meanders around your mind, locking you in to its magical spell, while remaining a serious dance floor moment throughout. Tight production gels this masterpiece wonderfully as is leaves you breathless and in awe of its power.
