About the artist: L1NH is a Syrian producer and DJ based in Lenapehoking/Brooklyn, known for her bold diasporic production and mixing style that blends Arab/SWANA sounds with a variety of experimental club and rave genres.

About the set: "First, I just want to say thank you for your support and allyship since day 1. 

This is the first time I got requested to submit a primarily techno-focused set, so maybe this mix will remind folks that Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian queer/femme/women artists exist in rave communities. 

The set also helped me unleash a fraction of the inner turmoil and emboldened, pent-up energy festering inside of me for the past year, so expect to hear a range of dissociative and ambient sounds to bassy, percussive, sped-up, and unapologetic heavy-hitters. I’m hoping this groovy yet rageful sonic journey resonates with diaspora communities and allies as it did with me while playing it."

Today's contribution comes from Italian DJ and producer Stephan Krus.

I came across his name a few months ago when I received one of his last EPs.
I was really touched by his productions, which had great old school and industrial taste.

Stephan Krus was born in Zurich and grew up in Italy.
In 2001 he became a resident at the legendary Italian techno club Matrix in Brescia and also released his first EP on Mauro Picotto's Underground Media Records.

Over the years he gained a lot of experience in clubs in many countries and was still able to find his current residency at HYPERs events in Italy near Venice.

Successful releases on labels such as Decoy, Dead Cert Records, SK Black, Naked Lunch and many others made him icon in his own country.
