Heads up minimal crew, we’ve got a proper late-night groover coming your way. Six Shots EP by AJK(US) hits Techords on July 24th and it’s pure backroom pressure from start to finish.

AJK(US) has been bubbling on the underground radar for a minute, notching top 25 status on Beatport’s minimal deep/tech charts and slinging out sleazy rollers via labels like Gritty Records and Techords. Now he’s back with a fresh four-tracker built for basements, rooftops, and everywhere in between.

Raised on piano, guitar, and drums before going full tilt into house music after moving to Miami, AJK(US) brings a musician’s touch to the booth. There’s structure, swing, and a filthy sense of space across this new cut.

‘Six Shots’ leads the charge with a shuffling groove that’s all snare snaps and late-night strut. Proper heads-down gear. B-side business stays sharp too, with tight percussion and woozy synths built for that 4am zone when the sweat’s dripping and the phones are gone.

The Madrid based producer makes his first appearance on the label with three fresh cuts, delivering an EP full of energy. With a heavy bassline and punchy drums but keeping the original saxophone vibe, the duo takes the track to an even more minimal path delivering a killer remix. Finishing off the release with style, Julio Corrales delivers 'Can You Feel It', another acid inspired cut ready to energize the dancefloors.
