In 2014, 3 producers were on different paths involved in their own take on minimal music. Reezak (Morocco), Fahd (Morocco), and RazV (US). Reezak and Fahd saw that they were a similar path and formed the duet Origins Of Time. Yoruba Grooves, Inwave, Tzinah and many others. RazV saw his deeper cuts getting support on Innocent Music as he was helping run Unscene Records. With a passion for music, these three producers formed Baasmal in 2019. A journey through clubs, keyboards, smoke and bass to bring you electric soundscapes to create higher echelons of house music.

We roll into the 70th Podcast in the series, this one is from Dragusanu. Listen to just under 2 hours of rolling grooves. 

Born in Romania (Bucharest) in 1992, Alin Dragusanu has been influenced in jazz, blues and classical music since his early age by his brothers. As far as the electronic music is concerned (minimal techno), Dragusanu was attracted to it at the age of 13. His producer’s career began as a game, which would then turn into addiction and later years of practice.

▼ Empat is a young producer from Bucharest, Romania. He was always into all kinds of music from an early age, experimentating with hip-hop, playing african drums, all mixed together with an early background of electronic music lead finally to start his producer/dj career. 

▼ His producing style has an experimental approach, it includes a little bit of everything, from dark atmospheres to peaceful pads, from sick basslines to groovy break beats, and of course, a little bit of touch of some beautiful vocals. He's enjoying making all kind of music, his main focus being to maintain an "alive" feeling through all of his songs. 

▼ His sets can be pretty different, slowly evolving and going through all of the feelings. He enjoys housey tunes and is a fan of old electronic music, as well he enjoys very much playing break-beats laced together with trippy sounds and instruments.

 ▼ Currently is part of Generatia 90 Records team, managing the digital releases for the record label.
